"The contracted the work off to a third party. Jon took longer than expected. The windows was installed pretty good from the looks. Communication could have been better with knowing the job will take longer and what types of trims I wanted for the windows. As the contractor that was hired for this job by this company. Did a good job with putting up decent trim. As for the new windows they look great. I purchased the myself and hired sentri homes to install them. I will need to have a my siding on my house redone to be closer to the new windows so the gaps are not so obvious. That was not expected at first. But from old storm windows and not knowing how they were put in originally. There was some unknown things that was learned from the job being completed. I will have the siding of the house slightly done to match really good for what I wanted later on. My only concern is better communication with sentri homes. Overall they were great when I did talk to them."

"Disaster Relief Construction did a wonderful job on my mother's house. They were all very polite and professional. They worked in a timely manner. The quality of work was excellent!"
"I called Choice and reported my problems. They issued a work order and within the hour, I had been notified by S & J Plumbing that they would be here on Thursday. I could not make the time, so I called them and they politely scheduled for the next day. They showed up early, looked over the problems , called in the work to make sure it was covered and they repaired or fixed everything that was needed. They worked on my house like they were working on their own home. After done, they completely cleaned up, reminded me that they guarantee their work, and left. The gentleman who worked on my house was a professional and a credit to his company. I cannot say enough about the quality of work and their concern for everything. I will never forget such a wonderful experience and will not hesitate to recommend Choice Home Warranty. Thank you so much."
"They worked very hard each day. They did everything we ask them to do . They took a lot of pride in everything they did. They were at my house 8 weeks and and never complained. I would highly recommend them to anyone. They are just good people."

They built my bathroom linen closet; tiled my bathroom tub; built cabinet doors; put down house flooring; built outside garden area; as well as handyman services. They are my go to team. They really care about their work, and wanting their customer's to be very happy."
Completing a home building project in Cabot takes six to twelve months from permit issuance to occupancy. High application volumes add weeks to the approval process. Weather also dictates the timeline. Spring rains flood sites, extreme summer heat slows concrete curing, and winter ice storms halt progress. Properties in rural Arkansas require septic testing, adding further delays. Plan your schedule around these local factors.

Professionals scrutinize the foundation zone during home building by testing soil moisture and bearing capacity to prevent settlement in the expansive clay. Surveyors establish elevation benchmarks to keep the finished floor above flood levels. State building standards in AR demand positive drainage away from the structure. Reviewers inspect utility easements to prevent encroachments. Rural sites require percolation tests to designate a proper septic field.

Existing utility connections, mature trees, and neighborhood setbacks restrict site layouts for infill lots. In Cabot, heavy clay soil and tree roots create moisture challenges that affect drainage. Flat terrain requires engineered drainage solutions before home building begins. If the property sits on former agricultural land in Arkansas, professionals must remediate uncompacted fill material to ensure a secure foundation base. Evaluate these conditions early.

Gather a current survey showing lot dimensions and recorded setbacks before starting your home building project. Secure a flood zone determination and confirm your zoning designation with local officials in Cabot. Document utility availability at the lot line. Take photographs of existing drainage patterns after heavy rain. Locate any prior soil test reports, environmental assessments, and deed restrictions to streamline the entire construction process.

Zoning rules dictate lot coverage, setbacks, and allowable structures for your home building plans. You must check the flood zone status, as this dictates foundation requirements and floor elevations. Because Cabot sits on expansive clay soil, professionals require soil borings to design a stable foundation. Confirm utility access and review any homeowner association restrictions regarding exterior materials and garage placement in AR neighborhoods.
