We are a family owned, local business. We want to be your service company! Our technicians are qualified to service and/or repair your major appliances and your heating/cooling system. We have over 40 years combined experience. In most cases we offer same day service. We also offer 24 hour emergency service. We believe that the best example of a job done right is a repeat customer!

"Although the repair took a couple of visits to fix on our older fridge (as old as early 2000s), in the end it was fixed and we were not charged for the labor on the second visit. I'm so glad we didn't have to buy a new fridge. I understand that diagnosing things on systems like this can take a little trial of things to test and check components, so the fact that it took a couple of visits didn't bother me. The technician was pleasant enough to deal with and efficient. I thought she explained things well, which was very nice. I have no complaints!"

"Delivery Date: Monday (6/2/2025) Position in Delivery Queue: 2 Delivery Timeframe Stated: 0830 - 1000 CDT Salesperson: JJ Item Description: GE Profile™ 2.2 Cu. Ft. Built-In Sensor Microwave Oven Model#: PCWK22U1WDD Cost: $316.10 BACKGROUND: We have been longtime customers of AllSouth Appliance Group, Inc. We have purchased numerous appliances, including countertop microwaves. We always research our options online and place our order via phone with JJ. JJ does an excellent job in answering any/all questions that we have. JJ and Billy are outstanding. We have always been extremely pleased (5 star plus) with the job that all parties involved have provided us over the years. We cannot state the same for this particular delivery. EXPECTATION: Our expectation was that the AllSouth Appliance Group, Inc. installer would come into our kitchen, remove the old countertop microwave, take it out to the truck, walk back in with the box containing the new countertop microwave, set said box on the kitchen floor, open the box, remove the new countertop microwave, set it on the counter, plug it in, drop in the removable turntable support (roller ring support), drop in the removable glass turntable, wave goodbye, and exit the premises with minimal disturbance. Our expectation was neither met nor exceeded. EXPERIENCE: We received a phone call around 0900 CDT that the delivery was on its way. ~0915 CDT, the truck arrived. There were two employees on the truck. The driver was Trey Jones (name on business card). I did not catch the name of the installer. Historically, AllSouth Appliance Group, Inc. has always removed the old appliance prior to installing the new one. Upon arrival, the installer announced that this was "just a drop-off" and he was not removing the old one. We explained that historically, the installers for AllSouth Appliance Group, Inc. have always removed the old appliance prior to installing the new one. We also informed the installer that if there was a removal fee, some appliance stores charge a removal fee, we would call JJ and get the fee paid immediately. This statement to the installer did not resolve the issue but made it worse. The installer was agitated upon arrival to the job site, don't know why, and our insistence that he remove the old appliance and put the new one on the counter sent him into a tantrum. He took the new appliance out of the box, slammed it on the countertop, threw the ring and glass turntable in, drops the manual in the kitchen floor, and storms out with the box. In the process of storming out, the installer managed to knock several items off of the ramp rail into the garage floor that I had to straighten up after he left. During this "cluster" in my kitchen, I was in a conference call with my customer. The topic of discussion was the re-org of our group. My customer was in the process of informing us if we still had jobs and if so, what they were and where they were. As you could imagine, I was very interested to hear what the person that pays me was saying. Instead, I had to stop and manage a grown man's temper tantrum. If I wanted to deal with temper tantrums in my home, I would get married and have a child/children. PROBLEM WITH MICROWAVE: While we were on the GE website examining the countertop microwaves, we looked at the pictures of the interior. Regardless of the exterior color (white, grey, black), all pictures showed a light color interior. The Spec Sheet for the model we purchased does not mention the interior color. The only mention of the interior is "Microwave Oven Interior - Epoxy Coated". The interior of the microwave we received is dark grey. My mom has vision problems and requires a light color interior. AllSouth Appliance Group, Inc. directed us to GE. GE Customer Service would not deal with us since we purchased the appliance from AllSouth Appliance Group, Inc. Also, I was not provided a copy of the invoice by the delivery crew. BOTTOM LINE: This was the simplest task that an appliance installer could do. We did nothing to warrant the experience we got. It would have been less stressful on us, especially my mother who has medical problems and does not need any stress, if I had cashed a check for the purchase price of the microwave and tossed the money out of the car window on my way back to the house. If you cannot work on a job site and behave in a professional manner, do not come to our home. IN CONCLUSION - We will be purchasing a refrigerator soon. If I can't trust AllSouth Appliance Group, Inc. to handle the removal/installation of a countertop microwave, give me the reason(s) I should trust AllSouth Appliance Group, Inc. to handle the removal/installation of a side-by-side refrigerator. The degree of difficulty is much higher. In a broader sense, give me the reason(s) I should trust AllSouth Appliance Group, Inc. to handle all of my future appliance purchases."

Costs range from $75 to $200, depending on the appliance type and complexity.

If you're looking for supplemental heating for your home, an electric fireplace can be worth purchasing. A prefab, freestanding model will only set you back a few hundred dollars and can help to heat up drafty or cooler rooms. Electric fireplaces don't have the maintenance requirements of gas or wood-burning fireplaces and don't require you to buy wood or other fuel.

While smaller appliances might fit in your trash bin, many municipalities and private waste collection companies prohibit throwing them away with your regular trash. Contact your trash collection service to learn how to dispose of old appliances properly. Some companies will pick your items up curbside for no charge or a minimal fee.

Yes. Gas dryers do plug into the wall. Gas dryers require both electrical power and a gas supply to operate. The heat is generated through the gas supply, while the plug powers the electrical components that facilitate the drying process and control the dryer's functions. The electrical connection is primarily used for the dryer's electrical components, such as the control panel, motor, and lighting.

If a 240V appliance is connected to a 120V outlet, the lower voltage will cause that appliance to receive insufficient power. This may result in reduced performance, malfunctions, or even damage to the appliance's components. Depending on the size of your electrical circuit, you’ll likely need to reset a tripped circuit breaker at the very least.
