Most of what we do is full tear-out and replacement. We remove the old cracked, settling, or spalling concrete, rebuild the base the right way, and pour new. We also handle driveway extensions and widening, aprons and curb cuts, stamped and decorative concrete, and concrete repair.\n\nOur crews have poured more than 38,000 residential concrete projects. Every job gets a dedicated project coordinator, up-front pricing with no surprise change orders, and a final walkthrough before we call it finished. Licensed and insured.\n\nNeed a new driveway? "Butler and Associates Construction did a wonderful job on our new driveway. They tore out the old cracked driveway and replaced it with a new smooth and solid surface for our family to enjoy. They were efficient, professional and treated our property with respect leaving a clean worksite each day. We get compliments on our new driveway almost every day from neighbors walking past. Can’t recommend Jonathan and his crew enough!"

"The very best contractor I have ever worked with. He and his company came to repair a large pothole in my asphalt driveway. He also repaired another that had been repaired before but sunk in. His price was very reasonable. Very personable, worked hard. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company. They did an excellent job. I have had other asphalt contractors ever since I put in this asphalt driveway. None have ever done the great job this company did. I will call them every time I need something done to this driveway. Can't rave about them enough. And NO I am not related. Found them on Angi and could not be more happy. GREAT JOB!!!"

Customers say: True professional

"These guys did a fantastic job. They listened to what we wanted and even adjusted when we made a change. They cleaned up after themselves and even pressure washed the driveway to remove dirt that got on it. We ar completely satisfied with this project. Jeff and the guys at Outdoor Elegance did a wonderful job. We would hire them again and will be recommending them to our friends and neighbors."

Asphalt Driveways questions, answered by experts

A driveway approach is the part of a driveway where the public road meets the private driveway. This section contains several key elements, including the driveway apron, the curb cut, and the end slope. Depending on the slope of the driveway, this area may also contain the trench drain.

In the United States, roads are usually categorized as one of three types: public roads, other drivable roads, and non-drivable roads. These categories dictate how a road can be used; a non-drivable road might be classified that way because it is heavily damaged and unsafe for cars.

Depending on project size, typically 1 to 3 days, including preparation and installation.

Yes, a paved or repaved driveway can boost your home's value by increasing its curb appeal and the functionality of your outdoor space. A new driveway can add anywhere from $5,000 to $20,000 to a property's value. An old, crumbling driveway can be a red flag for potential buyers and inspectors.

The amount of value added depends on the materials used, the design, and local market conditions. Concrete is often cited as adding the most value due to its long lifespan, though asphalt may be more desirable in colder climates. The return on investment is greatest when replacing a driveway that is in poor condition; repaving a driveway that is already in good shape will not yield as significant an increase in value.

When comparing installation costs, asphalt is often less expensive upfront than concrete. Asphalt prices typically range from $7 to $15 per square foot, while concrete can range from $3 to $18 per square foot. However, long-term costs should also be considered. Concrete driveways generally last longer (up to twice as long) and require less maintenance, which can make them more affordable over their lifespan. While asphalt has a lower installation cost and is easier to repair, it requires more frequent maintenance, such as sealing, which can add up over time. Therefore, while concrete is more expensive initially, its durability may offset the cost in the long run.
