"All the personnel were polite and knowledgeable. The salesman completed a through assessment of the project. We discussed options and he provided me with an estimate within a couple of days. Once I made the decision to proceed, I was contacted by a project supervisor who discussed with me the timeline for installation. The project supervisor contacted my gas company for an assessment of the gas meter to insure it could handle the generator that was being installed. He also contacted the power company, arranged for all permits and inspections, and contracted a plumber to install additional gas line. Overall, he arranged for everything that needed to be done for the installation. On the installation day the team arrived 30 minutes before the scheduled time and began work. The work was completed in a timely manner and the generator was tested. Due to scheduling conflicts with the city and the power company the work could not be certified until the following day. The project supervisor worked with the power company to get us back on line so that we would not be without power for the evening. The following day the city inspector met with an electrician for the company and the generator was certified. The electrician then went through an education process with me and explained how the system was set up and what to expect. It was a great experience and I would highly recommend them. Be aware that the company does business under multiple names (Tidmore Inc, Huntsville Generator, Current Electrical and Generator Services). This was confusing at times."

"This is the second time we have use Mister Sparky of Huntsville for our electrical repair needs. What a terrific company to work with. So courteous and professional. We needed to repair an electrical outlet for our pool light. Turns out the cost was more than we had anticipated due to the original outlet installed by the pool company was totally not up to code. As a result, the outlet had shorted out and could have put electricity in the pool. Scary! Matt and his co-worker did a fantastic job, adding new breakers to the pool breaker box and a new 'sealed' outlet box next to the pool deck. "It took several months before they got to me, because they are quite busy, but I was not in a big hurry. They did an excellent job; it looks great! They re-used my brick and did a good job of matching the mortar. They removed the whole area around the cracks, cleaned it up, and then re-assembled it. They also redid some brickwork under a downspout and that looks nice as well. They put new molding and lintel around the garage."

"After Philip Stephens (the owner) sent his son, Jared (and his partner), to do work at my home, I was compelled to have a third electrician come out to check their work (due to the lackadaisical attitude Jared displayed). Long story short, the third electrician found that Jared (and his partner) did not ground the following items: - 60 outlets - 15 single light switches - 10 double light switches - 5 triple light switches - 4 ground fault interrupters - 4 recessed lights - 1 ceiling fan Also, none of the recessed lights were installed properly; Jared just shoved all the new wires up into the existing holes (and charged $177.00 x 4 = $708.00 to install four lights which are sold at Lowe's for $27 per light). In addition, the ceiling fan was not wired properly (the light was wired correctly, but the fan was not). When I contacted Philip Stephens, he said that the 98+ mistakes were "honest." From there, I sent Philip Stephens a certified letter (with return receipt) requesting that he return my $1,503.00 (to cover the $2,000.00 rework I had to do), but according to the post office, he refused to sign for the letter. Now I understand why Philip Stephens only accepts cash . . . it is because he doesn't want the client disputing a credit card charge after finding out about all the shortcuts that were taken. Due to this crooked business, I lost $1,503.00 and an additional $2,000.00 for the rework. Don't allow Stephens Electric to take advantage of you like they did to me. On that note, I told Philip Stephens I was a single woman (living alone) and would soon be fostering children in my home (which was the reason for installing new tamper-resistant outlets throughout the home). With that information, he and his son thought they could pull the wool over my eyes (at the expense of the safety of my home) and charge an astronomical price for shoddy work."
