After Philip Stephens (the owner) sent his son, Jared (and his partner), to do work at my home, I was compelled to have a third electrician come out to check their work (due to the lackadaisical attitude Jared displayed). Long story short, the third electrician found that Jared (and his partner) did not ground the following items: - 60 outlets - 15 single light switches - 10 double light switches - 5 triple light switches - 4 ground fault interrupters - 4 recessed lights - 1 ceiling fan Also, none of the recessed lights were installed properly; Jared just shoved all the new wires up into the existing holes (and charged $177.00 x 4 = $708.00 to install four lights which are sold at Lowe's for $27 per light). In addition, the ceiling fan was not wired properly (the light was wired correctly, but the fan was not). When I contacted Philip Stephens, he said that the 98+ mistakes were "honest." From there, I sent Philip Stephens a certified letter (with return receipt) requesting that he return my $1,503.00 (to cover the $2,000.00 rework I had to do), but according to the post office, he refused to sign for the letter. Now I understand why Philip Stephens only accepts cash . . . it is because he doesn't want the client disputing a credit card charge after finding out about all the shortcuts that were taken. Due to this crooked business, I lost $1,503.00 and an additional $2,000.00 for the rework. Don't allow Stephens Electric to take advantage of you like they did to me. On that note, I told Philip Stephens I was a single woman (living alone) and would soon be fostering children in my home (which was the reason for installing new tamper-resistant outlets throughout the home). With that information, he and his son thought they could pull the wool over my eyes (at the expense of the safety of my home) and charge an astronomical price for shoddy work.

Arrived on time, quickly located issue, spliced wires in wall behind plug that had overheated and oxidized, lucky house didn't burn down. Phillip was very professional. he was here about an hour. he gave an estimate on some other work I'm going to have him do in the future.

They were very professional, even got here a little early, did not waste any time doing what I requested and their price was very fair.

Moved washer and dryer power. Added a switch and re-centered overhead light. Relocated existing plug. Added power for under cabinet light.

All done in 1/2 day. Arrived in reasonable time frame after coordinating time. All professional install at a reasonable price. Explained approach to go from inside garage to outside and from outside to crawlspace and where connections would be made. Overall, very happy with entire job! Estimate was $725.00, but after additions $965.00.

We were very pleased with the work. Everybody showed up on time and completed the job quicker than we expected for a job of this size. The kitchen island chandelier was a difficult job because the chandelier had to hang on two chains from a 16 ft. ceiling. Just getting the latter into the house without damaging anything was tricky. Also, hanging the chandelier over the dining room table was a difficult job. The dining room table was made of travertine and could not be moved or stood on. Both jobs were difficult but they handled them with ease. We had received quotes from other electricians for the work, and Stephens Electric was the most reasonable. In fact, the final bill was less than the initial quote. We will definitely use Stephens Electric Co. for any future electrical work.

After talking with him, he showed us how to do it and we decided to handle it ourselves. Very nice.

Very pleased with the work that was done. Phil was here when he said he would be and completed all of the work in a very timely manner. We had received some quotes from other electricians for the work, and Stephens was by far the most reasonable! Would definitely use him in the future if we ever have a need.

All went very well. we wanted canister lights in the kitchen near the counters but because of plumbing issues overhead it could not be done. He showed us the LED ribbon lighting and it actually was better than the can light would have been as they shine directly on our blue granite counter tops.

They were professional and prompt.

It was good. We will probably go with Stephen. He was on time for his appointment and he gave us a complete written estimate on that day. He was also highly recommended. We are getting ready to contact him again for him to do the work. I do not remember the cost of the service but it is a good price.

Both jobs were performed professionally and we felt like we got a quality job both times. Phillip really knows his business and he offered several options for providing power to our outdoor fountain. He had to run a line from under the house and sidewalk to the pond and provide power to two separate pumps. We wanted to do it in such a way that the cords were concealed as much as possible. Phillip ended up cutting a small trench in the expansion joint of the sidewalk in order to conceal the lines, then run them up the backside of the pond, and finally splicing the lines to the existing power cords of the pumps. It was all done with neat care which we appreciated.
On a couple of other occasions, when I called Phillip for an electrical problem I was having, he talked me through possible solutions on the phone which saved me time and money.

Everything went very well. They were prompt, the work was finished accurately and quickly, and the price was very reasonable.

Went well, very nice fella. Our original appointment had to be rescheduled but he was good to let me know in advance.

. Philip Stephens is the owner of this company. He is a very nice man. He and son work together. They did a lot of electrical work for me. I find he is very reasonable. He always informs me if he is going to be late otherwise he is punctual. He has done everything that I have depended on him to do. I will keep using them in the future.
