It was a complex job, involving two levels of the house and the staircase that connects them. Rick meticulously removed each of the stair treads, re-sized them to convert from carpet to wood flooring, and replaced them beautifully. The most complicated part of the job was installing the flooring around a wooden railing which runs along the upper level "loft" and stairs, requiring MANY precise customized cuts and modifications of the flooring. He took his time and was very meticulous with this difficult part of the job, and it looks great. Rick was neat, punctual, and easy to reach. He was very knowledgeable and helped me make decisions about design and materials, and he was so pleasant to have in my home. I'm usually very reluctant to give anyone a key to my house, but after getting to know Rick I did so without worry. And I like the fact that he's a veteran. It's my pleasure to recommend Rick without hesitation!"

"They did an OK job installing the tub and shower surround, however I had to take a lot of time making adjustments after the fact (not to shower but to framing). They had issues installing the plumbing and had to keep shutting off the water to fix leaks. The recommended shower was expensive vs other surrounds and not one I would have chosen if I could have seen it first. The did not show up as scheduled to install the valves and do the deck work so I went with another contractor to do that work."

Physically I could not move the refrigerator in order to plug in a temporary extension cord) The short was located & receptacle replaced.NOW comes the issue: It was my understanding that "Service Call Fee" of $45 was what I was expected to pay and because I have the Total Plan, I would NOT responsible for any additional fees ( "If we can't repair it, we'll replace it" from CHW TV ad). The tech insisted (rather condescendingly) that I pay additional $ for the work performed. He did not give me a receipt. When I asked for one, he said he would send by e-mail, He didn't. I tried to call the 24/7 phone number ...NO ONE ANSWERED."
