David repaired a piece of a damaged carpet. I'm impressed by the result! The piece of carpet blended in so perfectly that you would never know that there was a replacement part of the carpet. David is a true professional!

Beyond excellent Bills crew is very professional trustworthy and clean They finish when they say they would. This is my second experience with FLOOR COVERINGS INTERNATIONAL IN LARGO. I went out of town until the work was completed. I trust them with a key to my home. I live in a townhouse with neighbors on both sides. My neighbors had no complaints. I have plans to start a remodel on my master bath with Sue from the same company. You will not be disappointed. I promise. Patricia Rickey. Tu al

We had a major interior flood in our home in early September 2021. Our insurance company gave us several choices on how to oversee the subsequent claim and we choose their option of a ‘Single-Point-Of-Contact-Contractor’ who in turn would manage the repair and restoration from “A” -to- “Z.” That company is Gulf Coast Restoration & Construction/GCR&C ([*** Link removed ***] We had four flooring areas in our home that was damaged, and we elected to replace the wood flooring and carpet areas with tile. GCR&C sub-contracted Start2Finish Flooring ([*** Link removed ***] who have 30-plus years of experience. The 30-plus years of experience was evident from start -to- finish! The team of Jose Plasencia/Team Leader, David Plasencia, and Angel Lopez arrived at our home ten minutes prior to their schedule start time; and they did this on November 22, 23, 24, and 25 without fail. There was a lot of heavy furniture involved in three of the four areas, we walked the project, discussed several ways of approaching the install and agreed on a plan of attack. Then the team went to work. Everyday they stayed on task, they were constantly doing something that pertained to the installation of over 810.96 square feet of tile. Because there was existing tile Mr. Plasencia called on his supervisor, Mr. Junior Rodriguez, to come to the house to review the installation plan with emphasis on how the new tile will interact/lineup with the existing tile; keep in mind they use lasers to ensure how the tile pattern is going to be established. Mr. Rodriguez, after walking/analyzing the work area and discussing options with Mr. Plasencia brought my wife and I into the discussion, pointed out the areas of concern and provided at least two options in the areas of concern. Given this companies 30-plus years of experience we asked Mr. Rodriguez to state what he felt was the best option, which he did with an understandable explanation of why. We went with his expertise and the plan to complete the installation was formed and agreed upon. In quite simple terms, the Team of Jose, David, and Angel are consummate professionals. They did an outstanding job. As well, when moving the heavy furniture, they ensured we were part of the decision process on where to move the furniture to, given this project was expected to last until November 26 and my wife, our two dogs, and I are living in our home during this project; they took extra care and considered safety issues in moving the heavy furniture and did not damage any furniture or walls. Because we are living in our home during this work, before they left at the end of the day, they made sure to brief us on what areas to be careful of and the plan for the next days’ work. Finally, when they advised us, they would work on Thanksgiving, if that was okay with us, given we have been living in a torn-up house since early September and the fact that when they were finished, we would have a household that looked normal, that allowed us to use all areas of our home we were ecstatic. Better yet, by 12:00 PM on Thanksgiving Day we celebrated with Jose, David, and Angel over some Apple Pie that the job was done, and they were heading out the door to enjoy their hard-earned holiday weekend. We highly recommend Start2Finish Flooring for any flooring installation needs you may have; they are professionals who do a professional job with a very cheerful outlook all day long and the team of Jose, David, and Angel worked as a Team the entire time

  • Richard Hughes Flooring

We 100% recommend using Richard. Our relatively new home had a defective tiled floor throughout the entire house due to poor installation. The tiles cracked while we in the UK during Covid and lockdown. We could not enter the USA for this reason and Richard was incredibly kind and helpful, locating new tiles for us and helping us choose. It’s a very difficult task at the best of times and we were very concerned but in our absence, the old tiles were removed and new ones put down. Richard went out of his way to help us and finish the job before we arrived. It was a huge task. The workmanship is faultless and we are so very grateful to him and his installers. He was also recommended to us by our agent who has worked with him for many years. Beautiful job done and in our opinion if you are looking for a reputable tiler who is honest and does a perfect job, look no further. Thank you Richard. We are so appreciative

  • Bottom Zupp

Bottom Zupp of Safety Harbor, Florida On 9/2/2021 at 4:30 AM I water skied across our kitchen floor and the discovered our hot water side of our utility sink was spraying water at an extremely high pressure and subsequently discovered that our 85-gallon commercial grade water heater was pushing out cold water. We contacted Vet*Cor who did a fantastic job in the mitigation process but determined our ‘Engineered Hard Wood Flooring’ in the family room and formal dining room must be removed due to moisture readings throughout the two areas. Initially Ver*Cor was going to use their workforce to remove the engineered hard wood flooring but when we verified the glue had to be removed as well, it was determined by the Vet*Cor Project Manager a professional floor removal company needed to be hired and his recommendation was Bottom Zupp. While Vet*Cor worked with the insurance company to make the proper arrangements I first checked out their web page and was immediately impressed ([*** Link removed ***] then I contacted, via email, Ms. Hilda Huertas who answered all of my questions to include pricing, first available date to do the work, and will keep an eye out for the contact from Vet*Cor. A couple of days later Vet*Cor advised us the date for the wood flooring destruction was set on 10.01.2021. Bottom Zupp the next day sent out their estimator (apologies I did not get his business card) but he was a no-nonsense gentleman; however, after he did his assessment he verbally brought me into the project, answered every question I had, provided some guidance, advised me of what to expect, and advised that the project will be done and accomplished in one day. Today, Mr. Sean McCarty/Crew Leader and Mr. Keegan Gunderson arrived at the time specified, introduced themselves, asked to look at the work area, asked a few pertinent questions, and then advised they would start the destruction after about an hour of prep time. As well, during the prep time, Mr. Tyler Matthews/Production Manager arrived, met with Sean and Keegan, discussed the approach to the destruction and advised Sean and Keegan, if they needed him to give him a call and left for Sean and Keegan to complete the project. The prep was outstanding with the emphasis on protecting the rest of the house from the debris being generated and the dust. Sean advised that he would ensure the A/C would be turned off at the critical times and then turned back on – he even recommended bringing the temperature down for our personal comfort when the A/C was going to be turned off. They also made sure that there would be no damage to the areas of the house that had to be transitioned by their 2,500-pound machine by putting down appropriate protection. Sean, who was the machine operator, took all precautions bringing in the machine and driving it out of our home avoiding large pieces of stored furniture. From the moment they started their prep work to finishing cleaning up the entire work area and areas just outside of the work area Sean and Keegan stayed on task the entire time – they did not take lunch. The started at ~9:30 AM and finished at ~4:00 PM (time is not exact). They did an outstanding job. As well, they allowed me to ask questions during the process one of which was to verify under the wood there was moisture which they verified and showed in the areas where the water was known to be, the glue came up with the wood, in a smaller area where the water was not as concentrated, they had to put in more elbow grease, to include hand tools, to get the wood flooring glue up. Besides their professionalism they had an incredibly positive and friendly attitude; I was extremely impressed. If you want any type of flooring taken up much quicker and more efficiently then there is only one choice – Bottom Zupp. If you want to ensure you get a crew that knows what they are doing, exemplifies professionalism, friendly, and Customer Centered you will not be sorry if you request Mr. Sean McCarty and Mr. Keegan Gunderson from the Safety Harbor office of Bottom Zupp

  • G&R FLOORING

This job involved 3 rooms of over 858 sq ft. They first had to install Hardie Backer floor raiser so the finished floor would be at the same height as my travertine flooring. Their estimate was competitive with others but they could do the work in a week rather than 6 to 8 weeks from other contractors. They were here for 2 days and extremely professional. Tony, his father, and brother are a great team. They have a slogan on their shirts "we always measure to your expectations!" They did and well beyond. Tony came to my house to review what I needed done provided an estimate and within hours called back to ask me about the carpet removal as I had forgotten to include that as part of the job. When I paid them, I felt I got more value than they were receiving. The floor is beautiful which I wish I had done long ago. Thanks G & R Flooring for the wonderful work and easy change to my house. Anyone needing flooring work performed would be foolish not to hire these professionals
