"We were in the unfortunate position of needing to replace two HVAC units in our home at the same time. We learned that our son is sensitive to mold and found that our existing units, which were 15 years old, had mold in the plenum. We reached out to five local A/C businesses in efforts to find a person or company we felt comfortable with who would install two new, trustworthy HVACs with a filtration system to combat mold. Adam at Cool Tech was the last person we met with of the five businesses, and ultimately the one who earned our trust. Where some of the companies saw an opportunity to add lots of extra bells and whistles (because of our son's sensitivity), Adam was honest and straightforward about what was necessary and what was not. He offered a competitive price on a time-tested brand (Trane) along with a unique filtration system called the iWave Air. But most importantly, he was generous with his time, knowledge, and experience. In the end, we decided to work with Adam, because he himself would be the person in our home putting the unit together, rather than sending a crew we had never met. Adam guided us through the decision-making process to determine what was best for our home and situation, and he followed the plan through to a T. We will recommend him to all of our neighbors whose a/c units are now reaching the 15 year mark, and we highly recommend him to anyone reading this review.show more

"A very smooth transaction. Matt showed up one morning and Omar and crew showed up the next morning and by noon I had cold air blowing in the house again. This entailed demolition of the upper unit, removing the thermostat and the outside unit. They then installed all the new equipment and hung the duct work. This is a professional operation that was attentive to my concerns , they were transparent and honest in their pricing and timely delivered on their promise. I highly recommend The Woodlands AC if you find yourself in need anything AC or heating related. Top notch!!! "Where do I start? My family recently returned from vacation at the end of July. Came home after work to find the ac not working. Called Air Con and David came out and diagnosed the problem. Found the capacitor had went bad and needed replacing. Fixed the issue and AC worked great! David also mention cleaning or replacing the motor in the near future. Fast forward earlier this week, while running, AC unit began to make loud noises. I did some research and found it to be the Blower Motor needed to be changed. Called Air Con on 7/12 to schedule service on 7/13. Steven was dispatched to my home to only find out the motor was working and there were no noises. No charge for diagnostic or anything. After leaving for thirty minutes, came home to an AC screaming as the noise had become unbearable. I texted Steven to see if he could come out again and fix the motor. Hour later he arrives , replaces motor, and AC unit is working great! For any of my AC needs, Air Con will be the people I call. Thanks to both David And Steven on a job well done!!
