Textron Air Conditioning delivered an outstanding experience from start to finish. From the initial phone calls to the final resolution, they demonstrated honesty, fairness, and ethical practices—something that's rare to find in the industry. Our AC unit was making a horrible noise when it would start up, and it even caused the house lights to flicker from the power surge. Another AC company had visited previously and recommended that the pump might need to be replaced, leaving us worried we’d have to spend thousands of dollars to get our AC working again. Thankfully, Chris from Textron came to the rescue. He was professional, knowledgeable, and able to resolve the issue the same day—without the costly pump replacement. And the price? VERY fair, especially considering the high-quality service we received. With Textron, you don’t have to worry about being taken advantage of, unlike so many other AC companies. We couldn’t be happier with their service and highly recommend them to anyone in need of reliable and trustworthy AC assistance.

Avoid. Very unhappy with the services and prices from Textron. I will not call them again. No prior cost estimate for work, no post-call to explain the condition of the system, price was 50% higher than other local companies used for same "inspection" service. Look elsewhere for service!

Everything went very well. Johnny Taylor was at our home within two hours of our initial call. He quickly determined that the old compressor was seized and should be replaced. This was on Monday and we scheduled installation for Friday. (This was no problem as the outside temp was only reaching the low 70s and we had our upstairs unit to keep us cool if needed.). Jared arrived promptly at 8 am to remove a fence section for access and two other technicians were there a few minutes later. The removal of the old equipment and installation of the new was done in a professional manner. I had many questions, and everyone addressed my concerns with knowledgable and polite responses. When it came time to start things up, it was determined that there was an obstruction in the new evaporator coil. This, evidently, is a very rare occurrence that none of the team had ever experienced. The defective coil was removed and, it being late by this time, a second new coil was promptly installed the next morning. Everything is working great at this time. Textron is providing a two year labor warranty and. RUUD provides 10 years on the parts. The whole experience was pleasant and professional. I feel that I am in good hands with Johnny Taylor and his team.

It was very good.  It seems a family run business.  They seemed conscientious, fair on pricing and seemed knowledgeable.

He is just incredibly exceptional! I like their availability, they are prompt in their callbacks and they do a good job of distinguishing between a routine or urgent. They come out for me at 7:00 at night on a weekday, they come on a Saturday, in the summertime and wintertime. He doesn't try to sell you lots of stuff. He can do all the install, but if you basically tell him you are on a budget in that kind of stuff, he will work with you, he will explain the inefficiencies of older systems, but will also help you keep it alive. He's good about checking the maintenance in the particular areas, he is safety aware in terms of where he looks, what he does whether it's climbing up in the attic or whatever, and he explains things to you. I can't say enough about the guy. He goes by a thing that says the honest people. He has come out and he has replaced the water heater for me before. One time he did a call out for me and I thought I was having trouble up in my attic from some HVAC-related stuff and I had an animal up there so he connected me with the right people to go to but, he also helped me collect stuff up. At other times he comes out and evaluates my HVAC system right now so he will come out, he'll write some note, and do some maintenance associated with it. His prices are reasonable. He even advanced reminded me that the last time I had a slow leak and he said I can use a little bit more freon, and the freon has gone up significantly. He can't say how much it is going to take, but it might be this and this, is that okay? They treat you like they would want to be treated. They pick up after themselves. I find that he is competitive for this area. He's worth it. The value is excellent. I have referred him to colleagues because basically he's competitive and just so responsive. He comes within the window that he said he does and will adjust his timing. I had cases where I had to be at work and I need him to come out and check in and I tell him it might take me an hour to get back to the house, and he would be there waiting for me until I come in. When you find somebody good, you keep him.

I already know it will be done right and at a reasonable rate. I have no qualms about saying this as they work. A thirty year history with an individual and his company is a long period of assessment.

I used them to do an inspection of the A/C system on a house I was purchasing. My home inspection that I had done said that it was under performing and that I should get an inspection by a HVAC service to make sure it wasn't going bad, and recommended these guys. They showed up on time and were very professional. I got a good overall vibe from these two young guys. It turned out there was nothing wrong with my A/C system and everything checked out clean and leak free. To me that says honesty. I was fully expecting the system to need a cleaning and/or needing refrigerant, and these guys could have easily told me that and I would have paid it, but they didn't. Just good competent hard working guys.

I have used this guy and his family for probably at least 30 years. This guy is as honest as they come, I know that for a fact.

Every repair and every installation has gone exactly as expected. No surprises, no disappointments.

We have used Textron since we moved into this house five years ago. Johnny and Jarrod are as honest as the day is long...a few times I have left the door unlocked for them to come and go when I could not be here. Awesome people.
This spring, something needed to be checked on the a/c unit that Johnny's crew installed 4 years ago. Everything was taken care of quickly (this is TEXAS --- it's already hot and nobody likes a whiney, sweaty person)...most everything was under warranty and we are good to go.
I highly recommend Textron because they do such a great and honest job. I hesitate to give their name out because I want them for myself! :)

They are the best. They are accurate and educational. They do good work whether or not there is any. They are also honest.

What I like about him is that he is very reliable and trustworthy. He does good work and his prices are pretty good too. I have been happy with his work and have referred him to many of my clients.

I called for a rep to come out and specifically requested Johnny as he had come highly recommended. I left a message on his voice mail and he returned my call within five minutes. He came out within the hour (and I was a new customer) and not only fixed the water leak, but also cleaned the evaporator coils and put a new access panel in. I am so impressed with this man! I had used three other companies before I found him and I will never use another A/C company again. He has given me great service, is very knowledgeable and will never try to sell you something that you don't need. I have called him on his cell when I had a problem with my thermostat and he talked me through it and I was able to fix the problem. They don't come like that any more!
