My AC stopped blowing cold on a Saturday night during a heat wave in Houston. I called Bellaire AC Sunday morning, and Charles came out the same day. He obviously had a lot of calls that day because he arrived around 8:00 p.m. I don't know that most AC technicians would be willing to continue working that late. If he hadn't come I would have checked into a hotel because it was over 85° in my condo at that point. It turned out the condenser fan had stopped working because of a bad capacitor. Charles replaced the capacitor and put in about 3 lb of coolant. Charles is very knowledgeable. As he was working he explained the technical details of how the system works and what he was doing. I will call Bellaire Air Conditioning again the next time I need them, but hopefully that won't be for a long time.

HVAC inspected and Freon added. I suspected a leak in the Freon line but the technician couldn’t find any issues. Claimed he found an issue with the insulation in upstairs unit so he left. Problem still persists so money wasted.

"Thank you for the review. I only wish you could have given us a call back if the issue had persisted...Or has it re-surfaced? Our technician noted that your equipment was fairly new, and that you had mentioned to him, that another company had been out to add freon. When we checked the pressures, no refrigerant was needed. But you may have a leak, if now 3 weeks after the other company added refrigerant, is not working again. Our technician did take a picture of the insulation that he had to remove from restricting airflow to your evaporator coil. Unfortunately, Angie will not allow photos in review responses. I would be happy to e-mail it to you. And in good faith, send a tech out (at no charge) to re-evaluate the system. We have been serving the Bellaire/West U/Meyerland area for 42 years, and take great pride in our work and our following. Although this is not a perfect world, where everything goes right, We do all we can to make things right, when given the opportunity. We will try to reach you by phone to see what we can do to get cool air blowing for you as it should be."

This was on Sunday. Mr Patrick immediately returned my call and arrived in 20 minutes. He worked non stop to resolve the problems. He was very skilled and professional. He recommended some changes to prevent this problem from reoccurring. His price was reasonable.

They came out to my house end of august to clean out a drain line in the attic where half of the AC unit is located. Since then my AC is set at 77 degrees but despite running all day long only cools the house down to 80 degrees. They state that is just a coincidence. Really?? Would not recommend to others.

Two AC technicians arrived on time after giving me a call to let me know they were on there way. They quickly checked the system and answered any questions and concerns I had. The price was not the lowest I've seen, but reasonable.

They came out and were very responsive. The representative was great to work with. Like I said, very responsive to my phone calls. The prices were higher than I expected, but not higher than the market. I didn’t expect to pay what I had to pay, but they were supposedly below market. There’s a new product that costs more. Comparatively they were lower.

Nothing has gone wrong. They did a good job. They had a good price. It was just like the other company. They knew what they were doing. They did it,they cleaned up, and then they left. They caused no problems. They were here when they were suppose to be. They were professional, courteous, and all that stuff. We had them before, they were servicing our previous air conditioner, and they put in the new one. They are servicing the new one now.

Great from start to finish. We live in an older home and our a/c unit finally gave out on 5/31/17. Bellaire a/c came out the same day my husband called (very quickly) and they were very knowledgeable, professional folks who gave us two different brand options. They didn't try to upsell us on the more expensive option and explained that the reliability of your a/c unit is really based on the quality of the installer's work vs a specific brand. I was a bit skeptical at first, so did some research online, and all of the consumer review sites I found bore that out. We accepted their bid ($5800 or so with the angie's list discount) the evening of 6/1 and their technicians came out right at 9am the next day. Work took about 4-5 hours, and hallelujah, we aren't sweating in the house anymore! Great price, nice people, and did the work well and fast. We got a 2 yr warranty on labor and 10 yr warranty on the 3 ton RUUD unit. We liked the fact that they're a local shop - we live in the Westbury/Meyerland area. You're not paying extra money for a big "name" that doesn't mean anything but more overhead.

Carrier helped them locate a replacement in town and within two days the a/c was back in operation. Charles spent considerable time on the phone with Carrier doing diagnostic testing and determining the problem. He was courteous, informative and knowledgeable. Fortunately, the part was still under warranty.

The technicians do a great job and I'm sorry to say we won't be using their services anymore. The office side of this business is too difficult to work with. I called three times to correct an invoice that had been billed incorrectly and once the amount was corrected, I paid the invoice. When I received another bill a few weeks later that marked the same invoice unpaid and overdue, I became frustrated. I had now spent several hours over several months patiently trying to help the different people I spoke to in the office resolve my issue. The woman I spoke to this last time assured me that I had not paid even though I had the bank statement to prove it and not only did she not apologize for the months of error to my billing statements, but she became belligerent. I asked to be released from our two maintenance contracts and to receive refunds for the unused portions minus any "discount" we received. She agreed. That was weeks ago and I have not heard or received anything. I have decided I would rather let this company keep my money than have to try to work with the office staff again. Beware.
