"He did a good job. I thought he would come exactly at 10, but it was more like 10:15. However, he took off half an hour of labor and the arrival time was an estimate, which was more than I would have asked for. One outlet was a bit crooked, but he charged slightly less for materials and reused as much as he could from the house to save me money. If I want a super professional job done really well, I'll hire someone else and just pay quite a bit more. If I just want the job done without paying an arm and a leg, he will definitely be the one I call. I've already referred him to a friend of mine.

"AC went out unexpectedly. I called Long about 11:30, call was answered promptly, was told a technician would be there about 1:30. About 1:30 the technician arrived, looked at the unit and said it would need to be replaced, he looked at the unit, it was too old to have any warranties. He called and had an estimate, $3600.00 for a new unit, installed. I did the math, and had that unit installed about 1998 so yes, it was past due to be replaced. We okayed the install. He said he needed to go back to the shop and get the unit and some help. Returned about thirty minutes later with two other guys. The unit was installed within a few hours, works like a charm. Price was exactly as he estimated. Would use again. <br />

"It went extremely well. A technician arrived within about an hour of my call to them on a Saturday morning. He quickly identified the problem (a bad breaker). Because the breaker panel is about 40 years old, replacements breakers are not easily available, and so he found a temporary (but safe) work around so that we could get things running (including heating as the temperature was below freezing). He helpfully explained the options for us for the more permanent fix, which we will be exploring next week. He gave us good advice (not needed in our case) for what to do when a breaker trips. (Apparently a lot of people don't know that they should look for what they can turn off on the circuit) He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful and able to find a solution for us.
