  We worked with G&P over during two separate phases of a yard renovation project upon moving into our home; phase 1 in the fall of 2021 and phase 2 in the spring of 2022. We had roughly 30 trees of various sizes removed, including heavy ground brush to create a back yard & expand the sides of our yard. They brought in a great deal tailings, fine fill, and loam to level out and grade the new yard space. There were half a dozen very large pines / oaks / maples in our front that were also removed, along with overgrown original landscaping. All around the perimeter of the house were overgrown shrubs as well that they removed. We had a small paver patio put in for a space for our grill. There were a few downspouts that we had where we didn't want the water runoff flowing into the yard / mulch beds around the house, so they installed a few drywells and piped directly from the downspout to the wells. G&P not only expand our yard but essentially "reset" it for us. It was a tremendous amount of work, they were always there early in the morning and worked tirelessly to the end of the day. When we had questions or wanted to go over details they would often come out in person that same day to discuss. Overall we're very pleased, the hydroseed is coming in nicely and in a few more weeks we should have a fresh new lawn to enjoy.   They are tremendously professional. They have the best equipment. I have seen their company grow a lot over the years. You can reach the owners and talk with them. They are very accessible and they will explain things to you. They also send a list of things you could do. They are very respectful of my wants and needs. If I request something they make sure to do it right. They take responsibility for their mistakes and learn from them. They are very good and nice.   It went very well. G & P landscape was the only company out of all the ones we called that could do the whole job themselves. The job included tree removal, removing and replacing top soil, raising and filling in the yard to make it larger and fence installation. If you have multiple contractors then you’re playing the role of supervisor/foreman/planner. They were super punctual and always on time. They had to take down about 50 trees for my job, and most of them were big! They did this in 2 days. Price was good for all the work done. Definitely would hire them againshow more

  I had many landscapers come to look at this job and it scared them away. I am a business owner and known for my particular eye and strict expectations of when I have someone work for me, as I provide the same detail orientated services for my customers time in and time out. Vinny came and rose to the occasion!!! I met with Vinny and walked through the job and immediately knew that he saw past the shear size and difficulty of the project.He knew the beauty of a project like this would be great on his bucket list and was determined his men could power through anything .That they did in every which way possible. As the week unfolded I continued to change tasks, add tasks and see the project unfold. It is hard to prescribe a job scope like this when the snow ball effect is in play and ideas change . Every step of the way Vinny and his team worked with my ideas and keen eye and were always eager to please. At the end of the day that is what a consumer wants, which is a team eager to please, on time and a timely job completion. In the 5 days Vinny and his team were here they worked through hot days, rainy days, extremely rainy days and hot all over again. Vinny who led his team from the front and group of men showed exceptional work ethic,diversity of knowledge and again that eagerness to please that I love so much!!! They were waiting at the end of the drive way at 6:50 am and worked full days non stop!! Along the way Vinny gave me many great ideas and ways to save in places and spend in others to make my overall project complete on BUDGET. I couldnt be happier with all of the work VJR landscape and desing completed.   The project went very well. Bill was very responsive to my calls on setting up the estimate date and appointment date (which was dependent upon the weather). He arrived in the morning on the date he promised. He and his assistant were very polite and walked around the dig area with me to clarify what I wanted dug and what my requirements were. Once we had that clear, they quickly set to work. I remained in the vicinity to answer any questions. Bill roto-tilled the area and his assistant worked to clear rocks and debris with a rake. Bill needed to run over the area at least 3 times in some places because the earth was packed down so much. When he finished tilling, he asked me if everything looked good and assured me he had gotten to the required depth. His assistant was raking the area clean and evening out the dirt on the entire area. It all looked good to me and I approved of their work. Bill noticed that I had planted some grass near the area where he had been digging. He gave me some helpful tips on how to mix the seed into the soil slightly to help the seeds germinate better. I appreciated his help. He showed me a technique on how to rake the area and went ahead with my permission and raked a large area - about 20' x 20' - to help me out. I thanked him for the extra help and then he asked if I wanted to be billed or preferred to pay right then. Bill Ryder and his assistant were very responsive, professional and polite.   not professional job, left issues you have to hire other company to fix. currier north won't return your calls, messages or emails after you paid off. No receipt, No conversation. if you don't want to get endless headache, don't be the next victim! you will be regret to hire them.
