Dan Cahill came by to talk with us about what type of walkway/steps that we wanted. A few days later he met us at a storefront to pick out the stones with us/help with suggestions. From then on Dan kept in touch with us frequently about time-lines, weather delays, next step, etc. Constant communication which I appreciated. The walkway and steps now look amazing. Two types of stones were used on the walkway, and granite on the steps. It looks like we have a new house now. The crew was professional to work with, and Dan came by often to check in. I would definitely use Cahill again for other jobs.

The work was done in 5 days. The workers were very professional and very neat. The work went a day over what was scheduled as more material needed to be ordered but that was no issue as the stones were in their work yard.

The crew were remarkable. The Weather (mostly the rain) caused some delay but Dan worked very hard to keep the job scheduling on time as much as possible and managed to deliver the final product the day before my birthday. He went above and beyond to do so, even sending members of the crew working on Sunday. A big thank you for Kevin (the stone patio master) and Dan for a great work. True Craftsmanship at its best

There was a miscommunication of what work needed to be done - MORE work was actually completed than originally agreed to. An entire army of landscape professionals came and my yard is in immaculate condition. They also came earlier than I thought which was great timing for me. I called the company and said they were going above and beyond the job that I asked - Dan said not to worry and it was a mistake and I do not have to pay more than what I had agreed to upon scheduling the work. I am a VERY happy and satisfied customer! I was very impressed with the employees who wore bright neon green shirts while walking along our busy street and carried bright bags to safely clean up yard debris and the efficiency that it took with the army that came in to do the job. They got the job done FAST! I was worried I was going to have to pay for the additional work that was done but they were professional about the miscommunication that occurred and I have to say that I would definitely recommend this company to all local friends and I look forward to hiring again for future landscaping needs. Dan, Tom, Kevin, and Team have been nothing short of excellent to work with. We started working with them over three years ago, and "responsiveness" is what earned our business in the first place. What has kept our business, however, is the quality and professionalism in dealing with their entire staff. For three years, we have used them for all of our landscaping needs. This included regular maintenance of the yard, and 2 large-scale projects. The money spent has been well worth it, and I would highly recommend Cahill Lawn Care for services.

This was a long process, but worth it. We had a lot of work that needed to get done, and some work was delayed because we had other services that were taking longer, like a new fence being put in, which delayed the landscaping. The fence work was not done by Cahill, but did hold up Cahill's work. At the end of the day, the work that Cahill did was beautiful and worth the wait!
We started this adventure in the fall of 2015. Before the snow came! Cahill was able to take measurements and work with us on the plan for our landscaping. We worked a lot with Kevin perfecting our virtual plan that would be able to begin as soon as the snow melted! It was fun and easy working with Kevin to design our oasis. And the oasis came out just like we pictured it, if not better!

Cahill's landscaping team is great. Dan is so responsive- this guy answers emails all hours of the day. He also sends a clear list of services to pick from at the beginning of each season and will recommend which you need or can hold off on. Our lawn looks great and I feel like we are getting a good price. Prior to working with Dan we used another large local landscaper and we could never get in touch with them or identify a pattern to when they were performing services.
Last year we added some Hydrangea and a tree to our front yard. One harsh winter later and the tree never bloomed for spring. Dan replaced it without any question.
This year we decided to redo our back yard hardscape due to issues with paver separations and weeds. We sent a proposal out to 2 large landscapers and Dan. To our pleasant surprise, Dan hit it out of the park with his proposal and use of software for imaging. We received pencil sketches from the other two behemoth landscapers which are supposed to be expert "engineers" in landscape design. The project follow through, from material selection to where we want garden beds, exceeded our expectations. In addition to great project managment and high quality work, his quote was about 5-10% less than the next highest bid and the warranty longer.
Bottom line: I strongly recommend Cahill Lawn Care

Yard work was done timely, mowing weekly whether it needed it or not.
Mowing prices were very reasonable and it took no more than 10 minutes for the team to do the yard.
Spring and Fall cleanup, weed and insect control, fertilization, mulch beds, etc. Garden beds not weeded. I cleaned all beds and picked up much tree debris that were not cleaned up during the summer months.
Plowing services were provided, but I was not happy regarding the damage done to the turf when plowing the snow into the yard. According to their contract, they are not responsible for the damage they cause when doing the plowing. I was okay with that, but when I asked for them to fix the damage at my expense, they did a poor job. They tried to patch up an area, but it did not grow in well as not enough soil was brought in. The seeding was inadequate and when I complained, they said that they would come back, but never did. Some areas were left totally undone.
Their billing policy was difficult. Immediate payments required, or payment in advance. I believe they were changing their billing software. I was upset by the fact that I was being billed for work that they had not yet performed (flowers to be planted sat on my front porch for 2+ months when I got a bill for the planting, which was not yet done.)
I have hired a different landscaping and plowing service.

"Thanks for the feedback. We were a loyal service provider for you for over 2 years and turned your lawn around from nothing to an incredibly green and lush lawn. We also landscaped the beds and provided tree pruning and brightened up the yard impressively. Additional Bed work would be an extra service after the initial spring clean up, weekly maintenance does not include bed clean outs and weeding etc. Although we did provide this at an extra cost a few times and you were very satisfied. Regarding the Plowing, this was the winter of 2012, when we had snow 3 times per week, including a 3 foot blizzard with 6 foot wind drifts, followed by a 2 foot storm a week or two later, with no melting. As you know, there is no where to put the snow in your yard due to trees, so we had to push it on the lawn, and far in enough so that the next storm would not cause issues with snow piles. You asked us repeatedly to fix the lawn, and this was during the spring of 2013 when it rained almost everyday for April, May, and June. We could not complete loam projects, since wet loam is not workable. We did it in July, however grass does not grow well in July so that is the reason for poor growth, watering was also a factor. As you mentioned, we typically do not claim responsibility for plow damage to lawns due to the fact that we must push snow onto lawns, our priority in heavy storms and winters is to get you out of the driveway in the case of an emergency, more weight should be given to the fact that we are always there, on time at 3 to 5am in the morning and we shovel the walk and steps and in front of the garage for free. We do fix 99% of issues in regards to plow damage, as we did with you. BILLING: We have an entire new billing system, with online access for you to view all of your account activity, payments, work complete, etc. real time 24/7. You can make payments by credit card or debit on this system, and sign up for services. We spent about 10k on this system so that customers would never have any billing issues, and they can view concerns 24/7 online, securely. I was unaware that we were supposed to plant flowers that you put on your front steps. I recall pruning there and sending an invoice for the pruning, and possibly planting other shrubs that you requested. My foreman walked through this work with you, were sure to have a foreman there for you, to review everything. He is an expert in plant and shrub management, he may have thought that you wanted to keep the potted plants on the steps for decoration to the steps, as many people do. Given that, we have also hired office management to help with the overwhelming amount of phone calls and emails. We have grown 50% every year for the past 5 years, and have over 600 customers now so we are sure that we are doing everything that we can to make people happy.
