Leo of M&L Landscaping and Construction took a look at the job and knew it wasn’t going to be easy. He quoted and we ultimately agreed to go forward. I provided a down payment and about a week later he and his team arrived on site, manually excavated holes to pour concrete piers and poured the concrete. After cure time, his team installed Lally columns and necessary supporting beams and the job was done. Leo’s team stayed on task and were very committed to finishing the job professionally. Great, hard-working team and very professional.

I was seeking a qualified contractor for a project at my residence. I contacted Angie’s List for recommendations and was promptly connected with Leo, owner of M&L Company. After our initial conversation, we scheduled a meeting for a project estimate. Although the original agreed-upon date was postponed by the contractor, we rescheduled and his team subsequently began work. During the course of the project, I observed that proper precautions were not taken to protect my property. Dirt was deposited in front of my home, and a tractor was used to transport soil from the front to the backyard, resulting in significant damage to my front lawn. While the backyard was levelled to my satisfaction, there were minor issues with the completed work. Leo and I agreed that he would return to address the damage to the front lawn. Instead of repairing the lawn as discussed, Leo advised me to purchase grass seed and water the affected area myself, suggesting that improvement would take several months. Despite following his instructions, there has been little improvement to the front lawn. On May 20, 2025, I contacted Leo again to request that he inspect the ongoing damage and propose a solution. He assured me he would visit the property, but he has not followed through or communicated further regarding this matter.

Initially, we only wanted to do the deck, but they were so good that we decided to ask them to replace our patio too. They were great and completed the project on time and did great work. We waited a year to add the review as we wanted to make sure that walkway can withstand the winter and it did. Leo was good in ensuring the work was done properly and very professional.

Went well very organized

We hired M & L to repair and shore up our decks for safety and attractiveness. Leo and his team did an excellent job and were able to get it all done in one day. They were on time and worked very diligently the whole time they were here. Leo the owner is very good about communicating with you via text or phone, and is very responsive. We felt the cost was fair. We have hired M & L for other work previously and were very pleased so we were happy to hire them again. We would definitely recommend M & L.

He was very nice and friendly, but the price was too high for the job. They are all very friendly, but he did not bring some tools, and I do not agree with what I pay for what I get.

The team did an excellent job and were very efficient. We were able to expedite the date of our work which was an added bonus! We had a parking pad installed with crushed rock, stone dust finish, along with underlying dry well system for our nearby gutters. The team is extremely hard working and despite pouring rain finished the entire job in less than a day. We will be looking to hire again.

The hardest working group of guys I have ever met in my life and I have done multiple projects in my house using different contractors. This is the best company I've ever had the pleasure of working with. Highly professional and they showed up at 6:30 am and stayed until 7 PM. My patio is a stunner. We had an area of our lawn that despite care and irrigation would not reliably and uniformly grow grass. We hired M&L Landscaping to take out whatever was left of the old lawn and replace it with new sod. They did the work last fall and now with the spring this year it looks OUTSTANDING and is growing fast. The M&L team did a great job and we are very happy with both the results and their commitment to us in the future. A first class job done by highly knowledgeable professionals. Leo and his team completed their second job I hired them to do at our home. The first job was last fall. They regraded an acre in the backyard for proper runoff and repaired a 2 year old paver patio that was not done properly the first time. Always on time, good communication, and above all, a job done right. I invited them back this spring to grade the front of the property and customize the drainage that flows under the driveway. Another job done right and on time. They work hard and are worth every penny.
