Boe's Bobcat Service's LLC is a locally owned and operated concrete business. We have been in business for over 20 years with over 30 years industry experience. We are a bonded Baltimore City Demolition Contractor. And fully insured. Commercial work and residential included. Concrete is our specialty, as well as foundations, block And brick work, Stone delivery to include driveway installs and pad sites.

"Hired to build 2 foot tall stone wall and install a fence that would arrive pre-fabricated. Upon installation of fence it became immediately apparent that the stone wall was uneven and had begun sinking into the earth almost immediately after construction. Became belligerent when questioned on the work performed after initial attempts at gaslighting by blaming the carpenter failed. Stormed onto my property up to me unannounced to accuse me of throwing waste his workers left on my property onto his own property with no evidence, threatening to not correct the sagging stone wall. Walked back the accusation an hour later. Inserted himself into a boundary line dispute with the neighbors and appeared in court to testify against me, the one who hired him. Was unknowledgeable and unwilling to guide me through the permit application process"

"This was a fantastic company! Mr. Stevens is an artist with fencing. Not only are all of our gates, self closing, Mr. Stevens leveled out the area so that they would close and open perfectly. All the vertical slats are perfectly aligned all the way around our yard it matter where the elevation changed. The vegetable garden was fitted with a baffles which has totally foiled pest like raccoons and other animals from getting into the vegetable garden. I love the way my yard looks with the fence because it sets off my flowers perfectly. A fantastic job and a fantastically reasonable price."

Excavating questions, answered by experts

The best type of soil to build on is a mixture of sand and clay, known as loam soil. Loam soil has the best combination of these soil types to build a foundation on. The clay particles help with water retention, so it won’t erode like sandy soil might, and the sandy particles help with drainage, so you won’t see unsafe soil expansion or have an increased risk of leaks from water sitting against your foundation.

Yes, chipmunk holes may have two or more entrances. Chipmunks can create an entire network of burrows. Having multiple entrances makes it easier for them when trying to escape from a predator, such as a snake, or if an entrance collapses due to flooding. Each entrance leads to the nesting chamber underground, which is where the chipmunk spends the majority of its time sleeping.

The answer may vary based on where you live. Residential sewer lines are generally buried 5 feet to 6 feet under the ground. However, it's not uncommon to see pipes buried as deep as 8 feet in colder climates in order to ensure that piping is placed below the freeze line. Digging depth could impact your sewer line replacement cost.

Water lines are buried at various depths, depending on the type of line. For example, most sprinkler lines are buried between four and 12 inches underground. On the other hand, water mains usually sit between one and 3 feet below ground. However, they can go even deeper in cold climates to prevent freezing.

Digging out a basement takes anywhere from a few days to a few months. Most projects take at least two to five weeks, but it could take several months if you encounter obstacles. This project takes longer if you need to brace or raise your home before the excavation. Digging out a basement in new construction can take as little as three days.
