"Newlook Siding was of one of three companies we contacted for siding estimates for our home. Ed set himself apart from the competition with his customer service, knowledge and desire to educate us on siding in order to make informed choices. Pricing was comparable. In addition to siding replacement we had water problems in our garage that Ed was willing to address and recommend solutions. We decided to replace the gutters on the home since this was one of the reasons we were having water in the garage after rain fall. Ed was always on time and waited patiently when I was not able to meet him promptly. He listened to our likes and dislikes and was able to provide solutions based on our needs. Ed helped guide us in the siding selection so we made the best choice for our home and preferences. The job was completed timely and he took care of rescreening the windows on our home that had holes. His crew was wonderful and always cleaned up at the end of day. They installed new outdoor lighting and address numbers on our home as well. I cannot say enough about the customer service, attentiveness, kindness and honesty we experienced with Newlook Siding. Our home is beautiful and we have received many compliments about the transformation. Newlook Siding went above and beyond meeting our expectations. I enjoyed working with Ed and already have plans for him to do more work for us."

"Travis did a fabulous job on my chimney. I had water damage in my daughters room for years. Travis and crew came out and took all the old tuck points out. Cleaned the chimney to get rid of all the dust. They mixed there own mortar tucked the chimney. The last part they made a new chimney cap. When finished they sprayed a water sealer on the chimney. NO more leaks. Great company."

Window Service FAQs

If you have a problem with your window, such as broken glass, minor leaks, or a problem with your window being stuck, repairing the broken part might be a cheaper option than replacing the entire window. However, if you have a deteriorating window frame or major leaks, buying a new window will be the better long-term solution.

Window replacement can become costly, especially if you’re replacing your whole home. There are a few steps you can take to help save money on the bottom cost while still giving your windows a facelift.

  • Replace multiple windows at once to bundle your purchase

  • Inquire about discounts, coupons, or special offers

  • Consider window repair as soon as you see damage to help prevent the need for replacement

  • Maintain your windows often by inspecting your windows for drafts, leaks, and cracks

There are certain window repairs that are cost-effective to DIY and relatively simple for homeowners to tackle themselves. Tasks like replacing a screen, replacing a lock, or sealing a window are typically under $30 and take minimal time to do yourself. However, if you need to replace your window or repair a broken double pane, it’s best to call in a professional window replacement installer to lend a hand. Replacing the majority or all of the windows in your home is a time consuming job and best left to a professional.

Window replacement costs between $180 and $410 per window, or an average of $280 per window. However, your specific replacement job could cost as little as $100 or as much as $750. Factors such as frame material, the number of windows you need, and the type of glass you order all impact the overall cost. For example, simple double-glazed windows will cost $3 to $6 per square foot, but the stronger tempered glass ranges from $12 to $14 per square foot.

The time it takes to replace a window is a total of four to 15 weeks. This time includes your initial consultation, appointments for measuring, as well as ordering and manufacturing your windows. For a smaller job, you can expect the total timeline to be on the shorter end, but for a whole house window replacement, it might take longer (or be split into multiple install appointments). Once your windows are created and ready to be installed, your window installer will take 30 to 60 minutes per window to install.
