"Excellent work. Our house was mostly built circa 1930, at least half had no wall insulation, and it has aluminum siding. Angie's list sent me 3 possible companies from which I selected two. RetroFoam wasn't even on the list I was sent but they called and was the only company from Angie's that was interested. They planned on four days to perform the job, arrived when they said, did excellent work, cleaned up well, and finished ahead of schedule even worked through the cold drizzly September weather we had. They removed and reinstalled the siding and it does not look like it was ever disturbed. I was a little leery about foam, but their product has no chemical smell, won't shrink, won't expand and bow your walls, has a transferable lifetime warranty, and is supposed to be easy to run wiring through. We definitely recommend them."

"This by far the best and most professional company we have ever dealt with. We had another company try to trap them and they failed miserably. These guys came out climbed through our attic, took a picture of our house guest and set a trap. Caught him the next day, set another trap and caught his friend. A few days later they came our , cleaned up the mess in the attic and were gone. Not a spot of insulation in the house, not a thing out of place. Great company! You won't find anyone better."

"Had the whole house insulated in 2016. Just found out that there is now mold in the attic. Have had three different contractors come to look at it and ALL have said the reason is because when the insulation was blown into the attic they did not take the time to rake it away from the soffits. Now I'm faced with a major repair bill of $3000 to eliminate the mold. Plus, to make matters worse, my utility bill did not go down very much after having this done. Only thing I can say is that the house is more comfortable. So beware if you use this company and make sure they install the insulation into your attic correctly!"

"My wife and I attended a presentation by James Manfield, the owner of GreenForce.  We were impressed with company product and Jame's punctuality, professionalism and honesty.  We decided to hire his company to add insulation to attic of my in-laws house.  The installers came on time and over 9 hours managed to complete 95% of the job.  The installers were polite, professional and clean.  The subsequent installers came next day and completed the job.  We are very pleased with James and the service provided by his company. As FYI, we had similar radiant barrier installed by another company in our own house in 2012 and we were pleased with the reduction in heating and cooling cost."

"Scheduling the first visit to patch openings was very good, done on 10/22 - within a week from initial contact, but waited to schedule the next phases of the drywall work and painting until after insulation was installed, which was the week after Thanksgiving. Regrettably scheduling the remainder of the work was very difficult, I contacted the company after the insulation work was firmly scheduled, told to call back when insulation job was in progress, I called back to schedule an appointment the day before the insulation company was completing their work, told to call back when it was done, I called back the day after the insulation company completed their work and was told to call back the following week, this went on until I got upset a few phonecalls later about not being able to schedule the work, and then I finally got an appointment. After finally getting the work completed, I was disappointed because no texture/primer was applied to the drywall, which I was given instructions on the company's technique, but I was really caught off-guard by this as it had been done by the contractor with all the previous drywall work I have had done, but I let it go. Disappointed again when the paint on my baseboard was pulled off by some of the tape used by this company, and I was told how to repair the damage because it wasn't done properly originally, and at this point I was ready to call it quits with this entire experience and was happy that I could.

I don't understand the scheduling practice of this company at all as I am rather flexible but was pushed past that point in this situation, specifically because I got the feeling that the work I requested was very low-priority/fill-in work (although it took several days on-site to complete). This contractor may be okay but doesn't respect the customer's time and most of my furniture was covered in plastic waiting for the drywall/painting to be completed, not a good way to spend leading up to Christmas."

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
