"We found Victors Roofing during our search for roofing companies and noted the high amount of positive reviews and feedback and even though it was clear they were going to be on the higher side as far as cost, getting the job done right was the most important thing to us, so in the end we chose to go with Victors. I'll go over the project and both the positive and negative experiences we had with Victors Roofing. Project: 50 Year Premium Package House - Remove 2 layers of rotting plywood and install new layer of OSB and new shingles Garage - Remove 1 layer of shingles and install new shingles Positive: Honestly, the roof(s) on both our home and garage now look awesome (We're pretty sure our neighbor's both hate and envy us). Sales Communication: Thorough and polite. Workmanship and Products: Both were great. No complaints. Punctuality/timeliness - Project was scheduled and completed very quickly (1 week from initial project estimate until completion). Workers were on time and fast. Negative: Damage - Brand new AC unit was not covered properly and was scratched. Warranty - It was not mentioned that the 50 year warranty was only valid as long as you own the home and is only transferable 1 time for 1 year to the new owner (Didn't receive this information until I received the final payment receipt and warranty information). Cleanup - We have a dog, so cleanup was important to us. Overall it was good, but could have been slightly better outside. Attic is full of debris (Wood slivers from the plywood that was removed). Cost - Overall the cost was really high. I understand that companies markup products they sell/install, but charging $85 for a sheet of OSB that typically costs $16/sheet is an incredibly high markup. Final Thoughts: We love the new roof on both our home and garage and hope it will last for years to come and makes us feel better about the high cost of installation. Would I recommend Victors Roofing to others?: Yes. I can honestly say that even with the negative items mentioned above, given the high quality of workmanship and products used, I would still be comfortable recommending them to anyone looking to replace their roof that wants/expects it to be done right and not worry about shoddy workmanship."

"I had a leaky skylight that gave up in December with our 3" rain. I called Van Martin, the estimator showed up, told me the out the door price and I gave him a deposit. While I am sure I could have price shopped this, I would rather get a quality job the first time around.... and I did. The employees showed up to do the job 47 degree day, both happy and cheerful when they got there, and left the same way, just 2 guys wanting to do a quality job for the company they worked for, and loved. This is not something I see much anymore. They matched the dimensional shingles that were on the house for close to 15 years, both in color and design, the skylight install was 100% solid, these guys cleaned up after themselves and made sure I was satisfied with the job before they left, and when they left, THEY thanked me for hiring their company for the job. Will I use this company again, absolutely, I am very satisfied that I was able to find a company that stands behinds their work, does quality work and the employees like working there, that speaks volumes about the company. "Excellent! Chris Hawk is a true professional. He and his team didn't stop until they found the source of the leaking that had caused extensive damage to my plaster inside my house. They also fixed several other smaller issues along the way. On the basis of that, I also hired them to install the gutters and downspouts on my new addition. Again, they did top-notch work -- not only making sure the gutters and downspouts were properly installed, but also painting them to match the existing ones (I supplied the paint). And then, when I needed an attic fan, Chris found the fan I needed and modified it to be safely installed. Finally, my painter found some fascia on the older part of the house that was rotting, and Chris and his team came out and installed new fascia, reattached the gutters, and again painted so that you can't tell that there has been a repair. They do consistently excellent work. I've hired a lot of roofers to deal with a recurring issue that they finally fixed. I will hire them again for any future work that I need."

"The roof had been damaged by hail and I'd had estimates up to ten times this amount, as one company insisted I needed to tear the roof off and replace it.  Over several months we discussed the scope of what would be done, with several proposed estimates being provided.  Roof wise made a concerted effort to get the job done before winter weather, and I'm very happy with the quality of the work they did.  The flashing around the landing is not only fully functional, it is extremely aesthetically pleasing.  It will also last a very very long time--beyond my lifetime.  Several other roofers bid on this job.  This was the lowest bid; it was the only bid that had a scheme for redoing the flashing around the landing that made any sense.  I felt I could communicate well with them, and I liked all of them."
