We are licensed and insured with over 20 years experience in construction, Archuleta Aesthetics is Casper's first choice for Concrete sidewalks, driveways, patios, monolithic slabs and decorative concrete. Landscaping services include water features ( waterfalls, fountains, streams and ponds) brick, block and stone patios, walkway, retaining walls and seat walls. General contracting includes additions, remodeling and repair, including drywall and painting.

"Excellent - Archuleta Aesthetics - Chris Archuleta and staff were awesome - I've been in Casper 10 years & consistently have trouble finding skilled labor for exterior (and interior) work - Chris' work ethic, communication and prices were outstanding. I wish we could use his company for all the work my husband and I need. I definitely would hire Archuleta Aesthetics again, in fact, placed the company info on my iphone contact list."

Concrete Driveways questions, answered by experts

Cement companies often charge a per-cubic-yard cost for concrete, which averages around $130. In most cases, you can also expect to pay for leveling, surfacing, and add-on services, like stamping concrete. Here are some typical prices for common concrete projects for which you may hire a cement company.

  • Walkway: $1,800

  • Driveway: $2,800

  • Standard patio: $3,300

  • Stamped concrete patio: $4,000

  • Concrete steps: $3,500

  • Colored concrete: $3,800

You might also need to budget for removing your old concrete or additional land prep before your professional can pour concrete.

Yes, you can drive on concrete after seven days. While doing so, take extra care around the edges of the freshly poured concrete surface, as these areas may not be as strong as the main concrete surface. You should also avoid driving heavy trucks and machinery on new concrete until it’s fully cured, 28 days after it’s poured.

Yes, concrete can set in rain, but it’s best if you pour concrete 4 to 8 hours before any rain to ensure it won’t impact its strength and appearance. Exposure to heavy rain during the early stages (the first 48 hours after pouring) can significantly reduce the structural integrity of the concrete. Over time, cracking is more likely due to softer concrete.

Concrete houses will last for between 75 and 150 years, depending on the environmental factors in your area. Unlike lumber in stick-built houses, concrete doesn’t rot, and it’s more resistant to wildfires and earthquake damage, so you’ll almost always get a longer lifespan from a concrete house than you would a traditionally framed one.

Yes, it's best to use a carbide-tipped masonry bit when drilling into concrete. These bits are harder and more durable than standard bits, so they're designed for drilling into tough surfaces like concrete. A different bit is likely to break and pose a safety hazard so you'll definitely want to stick with one that's specially designed for concrete.
