"Every thing seemed to have been fine till today 1/3/18 . A few days ago I had to call some one yo come out to snake my lines but I couldn't afford much so I called AAA they came out today and they looked at my pipes outside when they looked in to the septic the guy notices my septic was completely full of solid waste! Even the guy at AAA was shocked because it should not have been full yet since I just had it done a few months ago. After AAA left I instantly got ahold of Roto Rooted and told them what was going on and to see if they would come out and actually do the job they apparently didn't do back in May . The lady on the phone came up with excuses saying "well you probably have a issue with your leach feild" I explained that no it wasn't a problem with the leach fails because it's full of solids not liquids. I asked if they can come out with out charge because they didn't do the work they said they did. She put me on hold for a few seconds then proceeded to tell me that they have to charge me a few because the city of Casper charges them to dump waste. I asked how much it was going to cost because I can handle paying for them to dump it in casper but I am not willing to pay for their service since I have already paid them for the last time and it wasn't done properly the first time. She proceeded to tell me that the prices hasn't changed and that I would have to pay full price for them to come out and clean my septice. If it was done right the first time ,for one I wouldn't be in this position right now and for two I wouldn't have a problem paying this time arround but since it wasn't I should not have to pay. I was ripped off by Roto Rooter and i will not ever work with them again."

We’re confident that the professional quality and affordability of our services won’t be surpassed by our competitors. We have been working in this industry for many years and have the knowledge and expertise to get the job done quickly and at a lower cost.

"Gave an estimate for an 8 hour job. He showed up late. Took a 2 hour lunch. Only had 4 hours of work. Originally told me walling would be put back, it wasn't, and included all materials in estimate. Told me it would be completely cleaned up. He failed to show up for the test run. Someone else was sent 5 days later. The second issue was not repaired had to call a second company to complete. The bill was just a copy of the estimate. I called and emailed repeatedly for 6 months and they never responded and said that the 8 hour and material charge was my bill. They do not want to charge a fair amount and the overestimate is their bill. No good."

Sewer Cleaning questions, answered by experts

It might be possible to dissolve hair caught in a drain, but it’s usually not a good way to go about clearing the clog. Some sources mention that baking soda and vinegar can do the trick, but this won’t actually dissolve the hair. The hydrochloric acid in drain cleaners can dissolve the hair over time, but it will much more quickly destroy your plumbing pipes and leave you with bigger issues. The best way to remove hair is to do it manually with a drain snake or to have a plumber use an auger to pull clogs out.

A two-way cleanout can help if there’s already a clog, but the best strategy to prevent one is by not rinsing grease, oil, or fat down your drains, not flushing or rinsing coffee grounds or egg shells down your drains, flushing only human waste and toilet paper (so no diapers, period products, bathroom wipes, or paper towels), and using drain guards on all of your drains.

Yes, sewage smells can originate from a floor drain. If the P-Trap in the floor drain dries out or if there's a clog or other issue in the plumbing system, sewer gasses can escape through the drain, causing nasty odors. Regularly pouring water into the drain helps maintain the water seal and prevent those smells, but if the smell persists, you should have a plumbing professional inspect the drain for potential problems.

No, it’s best not to leave baking soda and vinegar in the drain overnight. While using baking soda and vinegar can be helpful to clear out hair and debris in your bathtub drain, this mixture might start to corrode your drainpipes due to its caustic nature if left in the drain too long or used too often.

Anywhere from 18 inches to 8 feet deep. Your depth depends on soil and weather conditions in your area. If you live in a colder region, your lines are likely to be deeper than the lines of those living in warmer regions. Contact your local sanitation department or wastewater control board to get the plans for your system and find out for sure how deep your sewer lines are buried.
