It started with the president of the company calling to see if everything was starting on schedule and to our satisfaction. During the work, there were some problems, but they handled every single issue promptly, professionally, and to our total satisfaction. The materials and their choices were outstanding. The 2 bathrooms worked on look stunning. We had shower doors and a vanity installed and replaced in a guest bath, and in the master, we had a tub ripped out and a huge double shower installed alongside a linen/medicine closet and a double vanity installed. The floor was also redone. The materials we selected and their construction techniques and methods have created bathrooms we have always wanted in our home. We are completely delighted with the work and how it looks. Sean, our salesman, put together a perfect package with great deals for us. "This was an experiment for me in use of an interior designer online.  THe consultant was helpful in directing me to useful websites to review products and encouraged me to look widely and that was useful. Otherwise I found it difficult to use her services. The online aspect is one reason - looking at colors, e.g. wall colors and considering them for a particular space is difficult to do given than monitors and lighting change the look of things. Also, one cannot get the sense of e dimensional space from 2 dimensional tools
 In addition,  she was only allowed to advise me on one room and I have an open space that includes living, dining and kitchen areas, all of which had to be considered together. It was frustrating that she was not allowed to think about the other spaces when I had to think about all of them together.
The designer pushed me to choose a rug before choosing living room furniture but I preferred to choose the furniture first as it is more difficult to replace.  She was not able to be flexible on this account. Also, when I did not seem interested in buying through their service she seemed to loose interest.
It often took several days for the consultant to get back to me. That is the area where I most fault the individual as opposed to the set up of online consulting. 
In the end, I made my own choices and am happy with them. The experience gave me more confidence in my own instincts.

"I found A/C Home Improvements through Angie's list and my wife and I are glad we did! Tony and Terry was very professional and what impresses me the most is they stick by their word. Their work shows experience and will stand up with any contractors. They installed the floor, backsplash, a new microwave and under cabinet lighting as well as a ceiling light. We also re-faced our oak cabinets and it was sub-contracted out by Poff's Cabinetry in Martinsville VA and I highly recommend them as well!! We saved over half refacing the cabinets and they look brand new. Amazing work by both and will use them in the future for any kind of job we have!!"

"I had Mudd Master Drywall and Paint  replace drywall damaged by a break in quest pipe.  The wall had been painted in stripes and diamonds.  He removed the damaged drywall, replaced it.  He also had to match the paint since we didn't have any more and painted the entire wall in the stripes and diamonds like we had.  It looks great and you would never know of the disaster we had.  He cleaned up everything and left my husband's music room looking like new.  I was very pleased and now my husband can practice in there without the damage making him depressed.  Lewis was great to work with and we will use him again.
