Established in 2002, D & D Plumbing is located along State Route 50 in Romney, West Virginia with service also to Hardy, Mineral and Hampshire counties. We offer 24 hour service in emergencies, doing our best to help our customers as soon as possible. We have experience in many different areas, offering new home installations as well as many areas of service and repair. We also have a well-stocked inventory including water heaters, pressure tanks, toilets and other plumbing specialties. Equipment to perform drain cleaning jobs is also on our list of services. We are certified to install Goulds pumps and offer a 5 year warranty with each installation. Installing radiant floor heat is another of our specialties. "I was without water and called in to see if they could come check my pressure switch. She went over that it's $90 instead of $60 plus labor. Once the guy got here it turned out since it was a no water call it would be a minimum of $350. I didn't have any plans for them to do work on the actual well, I didn't need the "no water truck" and did not ask for it. So that was absolutely ridiculous. He checked the pressure switch and left and I paid $397, he wasn't even here 10 minutes. I called and asked for a partial refund and as usual it took me calling and following up to get no where. Elizabeth was supposed to call me back on Tuesday with an update and I heard nothing. Hard to believe a company as old as they are can't get it together. I finally got a well drilling company out here on Monday, they were here for 6 hours and their total labor charge was only $600 vs $400 for 10 minutes of nothing. Really a poor way to treat your long time customers. What a rip off."

A leaking well pipe is quite different from if the well itself is leaking. To seal a leaking well, pour a cement mixture or bentonite into the space between the well casing and the borehole wall. The heavier cement collects at the bottom to form a solid seal, pushing lighter materials like mud and fluids up toward the surface. During your annual visit, a pro will make sure that everything is working correctly and check for certain contaminants, including total coliform. Every other year, they’ll look for things like metals and nitrates, and every five years, they’ll test for pesticides.
