I was without water and called in to see if they could come check my pressure switch. She went over that it's $90 instead of $60 plus labor. Once the guy got here it turned out since it was a no water call it would be a minimum of $350. I didn't have any plans for them to do work on the actual well, I didn't need the "no water truck" and did not ask for it. So that was absolutely ridiculous. He checked the pressure switch and left and I paid $397, he wasn't even here 10 minutes. I called and asked for a partial refund and as usual it took me calling and following up to get no where. Elizabeth was supposed to call me back on Tuesday with an update and I heard nothing. Hard to believe a company as old as they are can't get it together. I finally got a well drilling company out here on Monday, they were here for 6 hours and their total labor charge was only $600 vs $400 for 10 minutes of nothing. Really a poor way to treat your long time customers. What a rip off.

I called after hours ( non emergency) and left a message. The call was returned the next day asking questions about our situation. I was advised they’d get back with me, which they did and an appointment was scheduled the following day. They came between the time promised and prepared with replacement equipment to fix our water pressure issue. The technicians were polite, professional and answered our many questions. The tank was repositioned to better fit into the corner space, which provided a tad more space, but looks much nicer.

There were one worker. He was there for maybe 45 minutes to half an hour. He got done pretty quick.

We got four quotes. Mike from D&D had the best estimate and seemed the most comprehensive and knowledgeable. He's the one that pointed out the drain issue and said he'd include that with the re-pipe. He commented the old install appearance made him embarrassed for the profession. Mike and I had discussed different types of piping and fittings (I'd done a lot of research). He contacted me asking if I'd rather use Rehau's new Everloc+ system (a PEX compression sleeve) in place of the standard copper compression fittings. I'd already seen it and was impressed, so we went for it. We had to re-schedule once for parts they needed to order, but it fit our schedule so no harm done. They arrived on time, we did a walk through of the existing piping and expected new placement of pipe, water heater, etc.; D&D indicated they might be done the same day. Later, they realized they didn't have a couple of connectors needed for the shower/bath and had to overnight order. As they finished up for the day, I noticed they hadn't made a spot for the expansion tank Mike said we needed; they hadn't brought one, so they added that to the needed supply list. They kept us involved on decisions of how to run the pipe to minimize drywall tear out, placement of an interior main water shutoff, placement of the water heater, replacement of two outside hose bibs, and replacement of three faucets we supplied. While they probably could have done the job in one day, Mike had estimated two. We planned for no water availability overnight by filling several buckets for toilet use and washing up, so it wasn't a problem. On the second day they arrived later than expected due to the overnight order shipment being late, but they got the job done in reasonable time on the second day. The piping now looks like it was done by a professional, sturdy attachment to joists, water heater where it belongs, short runs to outlets, and properly hanged drain pipe. With the water back on, we found one connection at the water heater hot line with a very slow drip. With that fixed, the crew cleaned up and departed with our thanks for a good job. Shortly afterward, we found the connection at the water heater cold line also had a very-very slow drip but it stopped and we chalked it up to the compassion sleeve and pipe continuing to shrink back to normalt as designed. It's been a week now and none of the connections show any issue, so we'll feel confident getting the dry wall fixed. We haven't received the final bill, but expect it will be within reasonable range of the estimate.

They were early, and in fact, I had given the wrong size for the garage door, no problem, they rescheduled and did not charge me for coming out again.  Great company.

Very well will definitely use D&D again.

They were very courteous, prompt, and polite.  They took the time to get a tool that they did not have with them & returned to complete the job.  They did not charge for their time to get the tool, & they worked until the plumbing problem was fixed.

He came out the first time for a simple de-winterization on a house I had recently purchased and showed us how the water pump had cracked and said he would need to replace it.  He explained that we could get a cheaper one from a big box store but also said it was very likely that the same thing would happen again and offered to pick up a more reliable on.e After a little bit of phone tag (mostly my fault) he was back in a timely manner and had the new pump installed and even moved it away from the wall and recommended that we build an insulation box with an incandescent bulb (not a heat lamp because he has seen them start fires when they get too hot).  He gave us great information was very friendly and professional.

Mike happened to be in area and came over approx. an hour after I called.He found the problem and recommended that I call manufacturer and get replacement part under lifetime warranty.  He spent about 30 minutes and was very professional, courteous.  Will call them again with no hesitation. Would highly recommend.

Dan and his associate did a wonderful job with the faucet work and has been our plumbers for many years.  Their response was fast and courteous and I highly recommend D &D Plumbing to anyone.  Prices are reasonable and work is excellent.
