About us
Berkeley Home Technologies is a family owned business that specializes in custom home and light commercial construction and renovation. With a focus on sustainability which we believe will ultimately save you money. We can build your home from the blank paper and ideas, to the interior design. If you would like to take your home off the grid, we can help you with that also. Initial site visit and project discussion is free with design time at $75/hr. Most projects are provided a fixed price turn-key contract before work starts. BHT uses subcontractors where necessary but most of the work is performed by our own employees or owners.

Jonathan's work resulted in WAY better and more even heat. Before him, the steam system was constantly short-cycling (running and shutting down) due to the ridiculous size, which ran up the oil bill and heated some rooms beyond comfort and left other areas freezing! Although the system is still a bit too large with the boiler in place, Jonathan minimized the negative aspects in a safe manner. The cost was high largely due to the size of the equipment we had to buy for the huge boiler, but because of his work, I only spent 30% in fuel costs this past heating season. The savings from this conversion will pay for conversion itself within 2.5 years which is a pretty short return on my investment! I can't say enough about this company, and I'm already working with them for another project in this property to add cooling. They are top notch, and I highly recommend them!
