I am a young business owner and brand new father! I have worked all over the construction industry from a young age and became a licensed plumber before I finished highschool. The name “One man” Freelancing was inspired by my service in the WV national guard where I still currently serve as the “one man” a term given to the cannon crewmember who loads and fires the artillery cannons. I have a broad range of knowledge and problem solving skills, if I don’t know how to do the job I will surely be able to learn and you will not be disappointed with results!

"I called Mike on a Friday for some help moving three bedrooms of furniture and with cleaning out my attic and an outside closet. They showed up on Tuesday morning bright and early, right when they said they would be here, and they worked continuously the whole time they were here. It took them a little less than two hours to do what I thought was at least a half a days worth of work. I gladly paid the two hour minimum and I believe that it was a great deal. They were careful not to damage anything, and they did exactly what I asked . Their rates are reasonable, and I recommend them wholeheartedly for any size move."

Fencing questions, answered by experts

In Logan, project duration depends on yard size, slope, material choice, and weather. Flat, easily accessible lots with standard fencing materials may allow for single-day completion. However, Logan’s uneven terrain, permit requirements, and sudden rainstorms can extend timelines. Projects involving custom designs or multiple gates often require additional sessions, especially during spring and summer when weather changes are common.

Helpful?

Installing a new fence in Logan can enhance your home’s value and curb appeal, especially when privacy or security fencing is used. Buyers in Logan often appreciate fences that complement the area’s traditional homes and don’t obstruct scenic views. Choosing durable materials suited to local weather and ensuring professional installation can make your property more attractive in Logan’s competitive real estate market.

Helpful?

Schedule a fencing project in Logan if you notice storm damage, loose or broken sections, or concerns about property boundaries. The best time for installation is late spring through early fall, when weather is more predictable. Wood fences typically last 8-12 years in Logan’s climate, while vinyl and metal options offer longer lifespans. Planning ahead helps avoid delays during peak local demand.

Helpful?

Combining fencing with other outdoor projects in Logan is a practical way to save time and reduce disruption. If you’re planning landscaping, grading, or driveway work, coordinating these with your fencing installation can minimize heavy equipment traffic and streamline site preparation. Logan’s sloped lots often require grading, so bundling projects helps ensure proper drainage and a smoother workflow for contractors familiar with local terrain.

Helpful?

In Logan, watch for leaning fence posts, wood rot near the base, rust on metal fencing, sagging gates, or shifting panels. The area’s frequent rain and clay soil can accelerate these problems, especially after winter freeze-thaw cycles. Addressing these early prevents further damage, as Logan’s weather can quickly turn minor issues into costly repairs that impact your fence’s stability and appearance.
