My neighbors 50-60 foot tall tree was cut down piece by piece without doing any damage to the house, approximately 10 feet away, a shed, also about 10 feet away and a fence, which was about 5 feet away from the tree. The pricing was very reasonable and I will definitely use them again in the future. "

It was an emergency situatiion as part of the tree would fall on my neighbor's house, They were there in two hours to assess the damage. They arrived early the next day ad worked quickly and professionally. The price was reasonable. The cleanup was complete including picking up of any debris in my neighbor's yard. Dutch elm disease can’t harm humans. In fact, according to Cal Fire, bark beetles aren’t even typically dangerous to trees unless that tree is already weakened. The problem comes when Dutch elm disease kills a tree. That tree is more at risk of falling and catching fire, which can pose a serious threat.

You should avoid cutting off the top of mature cherry trees. This process is called tree topping, and it’s not recommended for cherry trees—or any trees, for that matter. Tree topping removes between one-third to half of the length of the tree trunk, resulting in structurally unsound, fruitless suckers. The only exception is for saplings. Young pie, sour, and tart cherry trees that are over 30 inches tall in the fall or winter before the tree blooms can benefit from heading cuts.

A tree growing close to a house can cause problems, but cutting it down isn’t always the best solution. Trees planted close to your home could damage your foundation as their roots grow. In addition, they can drop large branches on your house, make it easier for critters and insects to access your home, and encourage mold growth.
