We are a family owned and operated lawn service providing our customers with quality service

"Arghhhh. Very bad experience. Hit or miss on showing up when lawn needed it - grass would get way too long. People would stop to look at it and just ponder... Then, they would show and one mower would get it right and the other would shear holes down to the soil. Mid-July they disappeared without explanation. Afraid I may have missed the June billing, I paid them what I thought they had done plus one extra just in case this was a money issue or something. Tried to later call, but my number was apparently on list of people blocked from that cell phone. They used a P.O. Box. Never heard from them again. BUYER BEWARE!"

Lawn Fertilization and Treatment questions, answered by experts

It depends on the type of grass and the condition of your lawn. We advised you to fertilize your lawn at least twice per year. However, warm-season grasses and nutrient-deficient lawns may need to be fertilized up to four times a year. Remember, you don't want to over fertilize either, so soil testing can help to determine if your lawn lacks nutrients and if it’s ready for another application.

If you plan on laying new grass seed, try to wait eight weeks before stepping on it. You might need to wait an entire season to drive your car across the driveway. Sod establishes itself in the ground in about two weeks.

A spot herbicide for weed control is effective at killing crabgrass and not grass, but it depends on the type of herbicide. Always check the label to ensure that your herbicide is safe for grass but tough on crabgrass. Overall, spot treatment is ideal because it puts fewer herbicides into the soil, which can damage the soil. If you’re wanting a natural remedy to crabgrass that also won’t harm surrounding grass, you can also hand-remove crabgrass or even pour boiling water or 5% vinegar over crabgrass as a spot treatment.

In the fall, you should aerate the soil, overseed the bare spots, kill weeds, mow the lawn low, and rake your leaves. By boosting your lawn’s health in the fall, your grass will be stronger throughout the winter and come back healthier in the spring. You should also trim your perennials so that they withstand the winter and are ready for new growth in the spring.

Yes, many professionals offer non-toxic and environmentally safe pest control solutions.
