They completed what was agreed upon. Due to weather, project delayed 3-4 weeks. We had snow in late April. They do not cover their soil, so if there is a heavy rain, their soil is mud and can’t be used for a few days. Office staff always professional when answering our calls about what day to expect the work crew. Cleaned up beautifully!

It went very well, and I am thrilled with the new patio. Aside from having the wrong "ribbon" pavers delivered, the plan went off without a hitch. They put a foot of stone under the pavers, so I am hoping that the pavers don't shift and the polymeric sand used should keep the weeds out. The patio has only been in about a month, so time will tell whether it will stay looking great. New seed was planted in the areas that were left bare because of construction, topsoil was put around the patio, and not a piece of "junk" was left behind. Cleanup was immaculate. And, yes, if I had to do another project of this type, I would certainly call Achtenhagen in Muskego.

Everything was done by the time I came home and it was done very well. The edging looked great and they did a nice job placing the mulch.

Dave from Achteghan came out, meet with us, discussed our needs and provided us with a quote for the work we wanted done in a timely manner. He was friendly and easy to work with. Since it was late spring, we had to wait until the beginning of June to have the work beginning. The work was done in a timely manner and professionally eventhough there was a miscommunication with the workers who actually did the work in our yard. They thought they were supposed to spot batch the area of our front yard, instead of leveling out and re-seeding the yard. We called Dave and he had this corrected right away, no compliants. Dave even called back the next day to make sure we were happy. After about 4 wks after the work was done, I had to call Dave again to complain about some areas in the yard where the grass that was planted was not filling in. I also had some questions about what to do about the straw/ erosion netting that was sticking up in the yard along with when to fertilize and weed. Dave advised me what to do with the straw/netting and told me he would come out and re-seed the areas or grass that were not filling in. Three days later, a worker came out and over-seeded the whole area, added fertilizer and removed all the straw/netting that had not grown into the yard. This worker was there almost an hour and cleaned up everything. This was extra work that I didn't expect to be done. Eventhough we had the miscommunication in the begining and the questions in the end, we are very happy with the work Achtenhagen performed and there was no additional charges for the second time they came out. Every time we called, they were very responsive to our complaints and fixed everything in a timely manner.

BLEW OUT AND REMOVED LEAVES FROM UNDER BUSHES AND ESSENTIALLY EVERYWHERE ELSE IN THE YARD. LOOKED GREAT WHEN THEY WERE DONE.
