Here is my experience with this company. We wanted to hire a lawn care company to keep our lawn healthy and green. LCS Lawn Service did an assessment of our lawns in two locations. After their assessment, they provided me a 9-step lawn care treatment plan for each location. After 1 treatment in one location and two treatments in the other location, our grass has died / dying. After sending photos of their disastrous 1 or 2 treatment results, their solution to my dead / dying grass is for me to water the lawn more. NEWSFLASH: It has been raining. So, their watering solution was a worthless suggestion. My neighbors’ lawns in both neighborhoods are green. My neighbors received the same amount of rainwater as my lawns. If my neighbors’ grass is green, my grass should be green. Instead, my neighbors’ grass is green, and my lawns are dying. LCS Lawn Service did not offer any solutions on how they will correct this dying grass situation which is progressively getting worse. After complaining and emailing photos of my dying grass, a company representative did call me. She was going to set up an appointment with their people to meet me at each location to discuss this situation. To date, I have not heard from them.

"We are so sorry for your frustration. When we spoke a few days ago we did assure you a manager will be in contact in the upcoming few days to confirm the free service call we have set up. This seasons record setting temperatures and prolonged drought is leaving many lawns struggling. Again we strongly encourage everyone to water frequently to prevent such devastating damage. As far as your neighbors property there are many factors such as soil quality, shade, and proper mowing heights and probably lends to why it has been able to retain its color and yours is browning. One or two applications of fertilizer and/or weed control are a start to a healthy lawn but it does take time and is a partnership to reach optimum results. We will be in touch this week regarding our upcoming visit and will discuss the conditions further."

Have used their services for a few years but no more. Was set up to have "spring claenup" but got charges the full price for basically a lawn mowing and a few leaves blown. As a regular customer I asked for some common sense and received none, just this outlandish bill. No More! I consider integrity as my #1 value in who works for me and who provides services for me. I'm DONE with this place! $350 for a lawn mowing??? Unconscionable. Previous services were fair and well accomplished but this was the straw that did and always will break the camels back...for me! Too many other providers available to be treated in this manner...as a regular customer. Loyalty goes both ways.

By the following spring, the success in killing the creeping charlie also precipitated a near complete loss of good grass and the eventual over-taking of moss throughout the yard. First use of my leaf blower revealed a complete loss of grass roots resulting in bare ground wherever I tried to remove old fallen leaves. Asked agent to comeback and estimate what could be done next. Advice was that there was nothing they could do to save the lawn. I had researched the need to apply lime to the soil to re-balance the acid content and to do a complete reseeding, fertilization, etc. Agent confirmed this was possible. So, I am left with a yard in worse condition than last Spring with the exception of their success in removal of creeping charlie. I now will look for services to regrade and replant a lawn once I fix the soil acidity problem on my own. I am disappointed that the company did not take some responsibility for this outcome.

Our office did provide you with educational materials on what you as a homeowner can do to assist in resurrecting your struggling turf. Please let us know if you would like us to resend any of that information. It sounds like you and our manager determined a large portion of your property required better drainage and a major reduction of shade from your heavy tree lined property. Until you can provide your turf more sunlight (minimum of 3-4 hours of direct sunlight daily) you will continue to see die back of your grass and the opportunistic moss plants creeping in. We are more than happy to discuss this further, and encourage you to contact our office any time."

It was difficult to get very many estimates due to many tree damage claims. My job was also a difficult job that needed a cherry-picker to complete the job. LCS sent Andy Mancini to review the job, and we hired LCS. They were average in cost but were outstanding in communication and follow-up. Much better than some other “highly rated” services, who, in some cases never returned my calls for estimates. LCS was great to work with, with a hard-working crew and outstanding service....will hire again!

trimmed lilac bushes along property line. cleaned out under growth around tree line. also discussed with the neighbors about any concerns they had about the job because some growth was half on my side and half on the neighbors side. this too was satisfactory.

Very pleased with results so far. Lawn and turf quality already shows improvement over last year. Approximately 28,000 square feet of lawn. Each application of service $126.00. Lawn tech very nice, does great job, leaves detailed info after service. 99+ % of weeds gone.

There was a little bit of communication due to the not English speaking. There was a little bit of barrier when it came to communication because of the language. That was the second time we used them. It took about 4 hours. They were professional, but we didn't have much contact with them because they were mostly Hispanic. There were 2 people that came to perform the service.

We normally do our own weed and feed, but when LCS did it, you could see a noticeable difference. I don't know if their products are stronger or what the difference was, but our lawn looked better after they did it. We plan to continue to use them.

They are excellent. They are not the lowest in price but we have found they are worth it. They use products that are not harmful to pets or children. They give great tips and are very available with advice when needed. Very professional company whom we would highly recommend.

Great. I got the estimate and explanation of how the service worked. They arrived, did the treatment, left a detail note of the chemical used, how long the treatment lasts, when I should get the next one (2 years). A good experience all around. Very professional.
