Small jobs welcome

"Joel just finished painting a majority of the interior of our new condo. He was very responsive and professional in providing the quote and collaborated with me on deciding which surfaces to paint. He was able to move my project up in his schedule which was extremely helpful to me. He finished the job ahead of his estimated time. His work was of very high quality and he cleaned up all of the work areas every day. Since I was not on site, he communicated with me each day. He even helped to locate and hang a very tricky painting on a stairwell. A true life saver. I was very pleased with the entire project and would hire him again in an instant."

"I would highly recommend Culver's Painting. Communication was excellent from start to finish so we knew what to expect and when. They painted our whole 3-story house and garage and finished very quickly. Any minor things we needed touched up were done immediately, and the crew that did the work was very pleasant and cleaned up so well. There was no mess left behind at all."

"Five Star did an excellent job. We had a lot painted, open concept with high ceilings, walls and ceiling painted, all trim painted, interior doors, garage door, etc. They arrived on time each day, cleaned up at night and were done with the job in 3 days. They did excellent work and we absolutely would hire again."

"We couldn’t be happier! The gentleman were meticulous in preparing the house for painting. Every window, frame, gutters were either covered or removed. Not a drop of paint were it shouldn’t have be. The recently planted flowers were protected. They were efficient and extremely professional. The house looks beautiful and we are thrilled and grateful to MVO painters."

Customers say: Quick response

"Ramon and his crew did exceptional work. They painted the entire interior of a house which included windows, ceilings, and trim. The work was completed in just under two weeks. The work was high quality and Ramon was easy to reach and work with. They also worked around us as we moved in and brought a dog into the house. There was quite a bit of wall repair needed at the home and Ramons crew did a great job repairing the areas before painting. They left additional paint for us for future painting/touch-up needs. Overall I could not be happier with the work and I would definitely recommend them. I have also viewed some of his teams exterior work in the neighborhood which was also done very well."

Interior Painting questions, answered by experts

A natural paint remover for metal is a solution of 16 parts water and one part baking soda or vinegar. When heated on your stovetop, these non-toxic household items combine into a highly effective solution that can be used to remove paint from small metal objects with tricky nooks and crannies.

Professionals use safe, efficient methods that protect surfaces and prepare for new finishes.

Yes, WD-40 can be used to remove dried paint, including spray paint, from surfaces like metal because it acts as a solvent. To use this method, spray enough WD-40 to completely cover the paint and let it sit for five to ten minutes. Afterward, gently scrub the area with a cloth to remove the paint. Be aware that this method might leave behind a greasy film that can attract dirt.

Distilled white vinegar can help you remove candle wax from surfaces like countertops. You’ll need to scrape off most of the wax and use the distilled white vinegar to help soften and remove the rest and leftover residue. Keep in mind that while it’s possible, using distilled white vinegar isn’t an effective method for removing wax compared to the methods listed above.

If you recently splashed paint on the wrong area of a wooden object, remove it with a solvent or caustic paint stripper. Some paint that has yet to dry may be removable by hand with coarse sandpaper or a plastic scraper. Another trick for removing dried-on paint is rubbing a dab of nail polish remover on the paint to remove it, but avoid touching the bare wood surface.
