They painted our exterior siding and trim, exterior doors, wood columns, and then they also textured and painted the interior of my finished garage. Sami was quick to respond to calls and texts and was in constant communication throughout the job. They showed up when they said they would, worked from sun up to sun down, and did an AMAZING job; I couldn't be any happier. His prices were extremely reasonable as well. JJB Home Improvements LLCJob One: I thought I needed a new outer door but Jeff (the owner) suggested refurbishing the existing one which was more cost-effective. It hasn't looked this good since moving in! Job Two: I couldn't afford a whole new kitchen so Kelah, Austin and Joe worked their magic by taking the cabinet doors off and with new hardware and a couple coats of paint on the cabinets, ceiling and walls, I now have a really cheerful "new" kitchen. The crew was great to work with and even accommodated my small extra requests of putting new light switches in and helped me create a new hanging wall coat rack. JJB Home Improvements is fortunate to have a knowledgeable and friendly crew. Keeping them altogether is Tom, their office manager and juggler of all things scheduling and billing-wise. I had to change my start date a couple times and he handled that--and all communications with incredible promptness, professionalism and courtesy. Culver's Painting LLCExceptional well, the crew, Pedro, Felipe and Christian arrived on time everyday and worked very well together. They left little to no mess and cleaned up anything that was missed, clean drop clothes used and plastic covering all the furniture. We had some stains on the ceiling which they took care of, repaired and caulked what needed to be caulked, and carefully covered some of the most awful colors left by previous owners. A job well down and I would recommend Culvers and this crew to anyone that asks. The owners Alex and Josh stayed in contact to ensure we had no problems and to deliver some items that were needed, a dedicated company.- Lorna F.

Adam and his team were wonderful. Our project was to get our kitchen cabinets and drawers sanded and repainted, but also to have new hidden interior door hinges installed. Due to the nature/age of our cabinets, getting the hidden hinges installed involved a bit of creativity, but Adam found the solution and everything looks great. Adam and team were extremely responsive and punctual, and overall they did a great and prompt job. It was clear that they are very careful and meticulous with their work, which we appreciated. The cost of the project was extremely fair, and we would definitely use AJ Formations again.

We've used 5-Star Painting twice now, and been happy both times. When we moved into our house 3 years ago, we had 3 bedrooms and the hallways repainted, top to bottom (floors, trim, walls). The crew were capable, professional and respectful. We were so happy we hired 5-Star again when it was time to repaint our bathroom this year, as part of a bathroom reno. They repainted the ceiling and walls, and did minor drywall repair. They matched the sand texture for the repairs, and did a great job. At the same time, we hired them to paint a bedroom ceiling. Some of the paint looked like it had bubbled. When the painter started to scrape off the bubbling, he found black mold and let me know immediately. We called ServiceMaster, who came quickly, and determined that the ceiling was not wet, there was no leaking from the roof (replaced 3 years ago), and said the mold was likely from the previous old roof. ServiceMaster said it could be scraped off, sealed and repainted, which 5-Star Painting did. Throughout the process they were calm, professional and displayed their expertise. The painting crew foreman had told me what he thought was the issue- and ServiceMaster confirmed it with their specialty instruments and inspection an hour later! We were very pleased.

We paid $5,000+ plus for MD Painters to paint the walls and ceilings on the first floor of our house. In preparation for this paint job, we had our old baseboards removed. We were purchasing new baseboards in its place. David, owner, decided that his painters would only paint down as far as the imprint of our old baseboards. He assumed that our new baseboards would be the same height as our old ones. WRONG. Our new baseboards were shorter in height than our old ones. Now, we have unpainted, unpatched gaps between our new and where our old baseboards use to be. Also, since he did not paint the entire wall, the nails from our old baseboards were in the wall. When I explained this situation to him, he felt that he should not had to remove the nails. He said that the carpenter should have removed the nails. It would have been extra for him to take out the nails. I asked him if he would have painted the entire wall, would he left the nails in the wall? I do not remember his answer. To his credit, he did come back and repainted and patched the walls by the baseboards which involved the entire first floor. While he was re-patching and re-painting, I pointed out areas that I felt should be done over. He was very condescending to me when I pointed out those areas. He said that I was "seeing things" and "hallucinating" After paying $5,000+, I expect the entire wall to be painted. I do not expect to be talked down by someone who is suppose to be a professional painter. A professional painter that does not know to paint the entire wall but expect to be paid $5,000+.

A crew of 3 or 4 men worked on the house for three days from 8:30am until 4:30pm . Each day the area was cleaned up and all equipment stored under cover. Many hours were spent scraping the exterior of crack and peeling paint..The house was carefully masked to prevent overspray, and caulked where the original builder left gaps. The quality of work I felt was outstanding and I would not hesitate to hire them again. The crew was also very friendly and very accommodating.
