"Ken was fantastic from start to finish. I hired him to remove an old basketball hoop, pour new cement, and install a new one. The job turned out to be much tougher than expected—the old cement was nearly impossible to break up and the clay ground was hard to dig deeper for the required dept —but Ken handled it like a pro, using a jackhammer and digging through hard clay soil without complaint. Despite the extra work and materials needed, he stuck to his original price even when I asked to pay him more, which speaks volumes about his integrity. He returned a few days later to assemble the hoop, and the final result was perfect—every measurement was spot-on. Ken went above and beyond, and I wouldn’t hesitate to hire him again. Highly recommended!"

Over 15 years of experience in everything related to home repairs, the goal is to provide a quality service in everything from exterior to interior repairs. I want to eliminate the need to call 4 different contactors when you could call 1! Every job is treated as if its being done in my own home, quality while being affordable. There are no charges for "trips", or estimates. Whatever you need from me, I will get done for you!

"We hired Randy to do a number of projects around October/November 2024 and had a poor experience. Two odd jobs were ok, but the gutter job wasn't and now we need to hire someone to rectify the problems. See pics/pic comments. I was unable to post a video but our gutters leak, too. And he did not install the leaf guards. Randy stated he would return to fix errors but has not- there were many excuses and no shows. We paid upfront for materials as he requested. We asked for a refund as he has our money for other projects, too, and he asked if we could wait until after Christmas. We agreed. To date Handyman Randy has not returned our money he pocketed, nor has he dropped off materials he stated he purchased for this and other projects. Randy is unresponsive and shouldn't be trusted."

You can paint over wallpaper if it’s smooth and in good shape. But if there are bumps or tears in the wallpaper, they’ll likely show through the paint. While you could conceivably select any paint finish, paintable wallpaper tends to look its best with a flat or eggshell finish. A higher gloss paint might make the texture pop more, but it can look a bit dated once the paint has dried. And don’t worry about whether a water-based latex paint will loosen the wallpaper. Paintable wallpaper has a coating that prevents this from happening, so using latex paints without applying an oil-based primer to seal things first is fine.

It’s always better to follow proven drywall repair tips and fix the seams that look bad. However, if you simply want to make them less noticeable until you have time to fix them, you can use paint. A darker color of paint makes bad drywall tape seams less noticeable than light-colored paint. Matte paint hides bad seams better than glossy paint does, too.

For the most part, peel-and-stick wallpaper doesn't damage walls. However, there may be some cases when damage does occur. For example, if you try to rip the paper off the wall, you may pull away some paint at the same time.

The walls can also be damaged if they aren't prepared properly before you add the wallpaper. For example, if the coat of paint is too fresh when you put the wallpaper on the walls, it can peel away as you remove the paper.
