"Chad was on time and was very professional on our first meeting . We settled on a date and time and was quoted a reasonable price. He arrived on time and I hadn’t been home when he started and he had half the tree down when I arrived. Clean up was awesome nothing for me to do. He placed all the wood where I requested. "We had a 50 ft ash tree ready to come down at any moment and Kirmse was the first to get back to us, came out to look at it 30 mins later, and was back the next day, to our relief. Their team put the tree right where we asked them to and worked quickly and safely pretty close to a power line. On top of all that, the price was reasonable. They'll be the first they call to clear a few other problem trees from our lot."

Unfortunately, the complex and shallow root system of elm trees makes surrounding elm trees particularly vulnerable to DED. Early discovery is key!

Rock salt or Epsom salt can damage and kill tree roots over several weeks and can even assist in removing the tree's stump. However, you need to drill holes or cut into the stump and surface tree roots to inject them properly with the salt. Repeat the process every two weeks until the roots visibly rot away.

The safest way to cut down a tree is to make sure you’re completely prepared and have done all the necessary safety checks, including double-checking your equipment is in good working order, you have plenty of clearance to fell the tree, you’re wearing all the safety gear, and you have a partner to help you (who should also be wearing safety gear).
