"  IT went great!! Keith and his 4 men did a fantastic job as all ways. Clark Heating has been doing my HVAC work for years now. I would think of calling any other contractor. His price products and help are the best you can Buy.
This system was a tough one It was a old furnace in a Steel building attic hard area to work very close Quarters. The building consist of 3 large areas and a bathe room. They separately zoned all areas with each having their own thermostat. After just one day we can really tell how even the heating is. Actually had a day we turned on the air WOW works Great!
The unit is very Quiet.
All the ducting was new from ground up very neatly run. The Clean up each of the Two days it took the Men Cleaned up as though they weren't there.
This Is now my forth Job they converted, Impeccable job on all four. Would'nt use any one else!!
Thank you Keith, Jeremy, Alan Matt, Bella  For a job well done.

"Justin took care to not over sell me. Only what I needed and understood. The install team were tidy, efficient, and educated me about the safety approaches when changing the humidifier filter. That filter and the furnace filter are the same that was used on my old system. They were professional and personable."

Heating and Air Conditioning questions, answered by experts

Running an air conditioner with mold is not safe because it can spread harmful mold spores throughout your home. Exposure to these spores can trigger various health problems, including respiratory issues, allergies, coughing, wheezing, sneezing, itchy eyes, and a sore throat. It may also aggravate asthma in household members. Continued exposure can increase the risk of more serious illnesses like sinus infections, pneumonia, and bronchitis. If you suspect mold in your air conditioner, you should stop using the system until it has been properly cleaned to avoid health risks and further contamination.

The average life span of an HVAC system is 15 to 20 years. Even if your old air conditioner is still functional, it isn't as energy-efficient as a newer system (especially one with an Energy Star designation). Older HVAC systems aren't as efficient, and the 10-year mark is when you should start making full system replacement plans. Twenty years in, that plan should be well underway rather than waiting for the unit to die.

To make the most out of your AC, consider implementing the following best practices:

  • Choose the right size AC for your home to ensure your unit runs as efficiently as possible.

  • Choose a window with shade, as direct sunlight can cause your AC unit to overheat.

  • Clean or replace the filter at least every two months.

  • Inspect the AC’s fan and straighten it if necessary.

  • Discontinue use immediately if you suspect a malfunction, as running the AC while broken can lead to significant issues.

  • Turn off (or adjust the temperature) when you leave the house.

Because of the improved efficiency, ACs with higher SEER ratings tend to cool down your home better than models with a lower SEER. Higher-SEER AC units have a higher cooling capacity and a lower energy demand, meaning they may help cool your space faster without running up the electricity bill.

No, it’s not normal for AC vents to drip condensation. A sweating AC vent is a sign of something wrong and can lead to issues like air duct rust or mold growth. Your HVAC unit might not be working efficiently because of a dirty filter or clogged ducts. Alternatively, your ductwork might not have adequate insulation, which allows the cool air in the ducts to meet the humid air outside, causing condensation.
