"WOW! 24 hours from dumpster and shingle arrival to dumpster pick up. The roof was DONE in 10 hours - I'm stunned! And I could not be more impressed with Dialed In Roofing & Exteriors and Caesar Dumpster LLC. From the beginning, they were so down to earth and helpful answering all of my questions. Thanh was amazing - he brought the drone out to take footage of the roof and walked me through what he saw up there. Because of the urgency with the 2 bedroom leaks we uncovered, they worked to get the job in the week of - and the good Lord blessed us with a beautiful day for them to work. They adjusted some of the twinkle lights and opened the back gates and everything was put back perfectly and buttoned up tight. I have found less than 10 stray nails, which is amazing! As they did tear off, they WALKED arm fulls of shingles to the higher roof line to throw into the dumpster, instead of letting it all fall over the yard. They had all sides covered with giant tarps to catch debris and keep it as contained as possible. One thing they mentioned that another company didn't, was looking in the attic crawl space for mold. I was even told by others, "oh yeah, I don't need to see it, we'll just go ahead with replacement". Thanh made sure to check out the locations of the leaks, showed me what he found and was comfortable that there was no mold issues present. Caesar Dumpster LLC snuck the dumpster into the driveway, right next to the retaining wall, with zero issues! I was so grateful to see them placing 2x4s down for the dumpster to sit on to preserve the driveway! And he came in quick this morning to remove it - nice and simple! I will rave about this process for a long time, and will recommend Dialed In anytime I have the opportunity! Thanh and crew - THANK YOU for the peace of mind you have given us!!!"

"Paid him over 12k for a job he said would take 6 weeks. It has been over 6 months and only completed some stairs to the camper. Has lied saying work has been completed. Still owes us over 9k and refused to pay us back. We now will be taking him to court. The picture provided is proof of his lies. I have him texting me saying he completed painting the roof. Well you can see he did not."

There are advantages and disadvantages to metal roofs in cold climates. Metal roofing stands up extremely well to harsh winters as long as it is properly insulated. Snow and ice slide right off residential metal roofs, preventing the formation of ice dams; but because of this, they may require snow guards, which prevent the ice and snow that slide off a roof from causing a sort of "mini avalanche" that can damage property and people below.

24-gauge metal is thicker and will stand up better to impact, so it’s a better option for roofs that will see heavy snow and ice accumulation, hail storms, fallen tree debris, and blown debris. It’s a more expensive option, but it’s worth the added cost for roof longevity in extreme climates. If you live in a more moderate climate and don’t have trees overhanging your roof, 26-gauge metal is suitable and is a more affordable option.

The green coloration that develops on copper roofs is called a “patina,” and it’s a result of mild oxidation on the surface. The oxidation process is not harmful to your roof. In fact, the surface corrosion acts as a protective layer and won’t spread to the core of your copper roof materials. The discoloration will progress much more quickly in damp or humid climates than it will in dry climates. If you don’t like the green color, you can seal your roof to preserve the shiny, rose-gold look.

Zinc roofs can last over 100 years under ideal conditions. While metal roofs last a long time, only copper roofing is comparable to zinc's longevity. Zinc roofing develops a patina over time, turning from dark shades to lighter ones. The material, or at least the patina coating, is somewhat self-healing by filling in small gaps and scratches on its own.  

Whether you should repair or replace your roof boils down to the scope of the damage. If you need to replace more than 20% or 30% of your roof, then it’s probably a good idea to just replace the entire roof, as leaving older sections up can leave parts of your roof open to more issues. By replacing your roof, you can have peace of mind that no pesky leaks are sneaking into your home.
