After our decision, he gave us a realistic timeline for ordering and set up installation. Showed up on time for installation, and was very respectful of our carpets (he wore shoe covers) and careful of the window woodwork during removal of old items and installation of new. "We had Argo Glass & Windows replace sixteen glass panes, many of them large, in our home on January 13 & 14, 2020. Their pricing was fair and the quality of work excellent. Their crew was fast and courteous, completing the entire project in under two days. I thought I would have to repaint the outer frames in spring following the glass replacement, but the manner in which they performed the work kept the existing paint intact. It was January in Wisconsin and they removed the old glass panes and installed the new ones with a very minimum of cold air entering the house. My wife and I were home during the entire process and never felt cold. We will be having them return in spring to repair some rotted wood in a number of window frames and replace some broken window hardware. We will definitely continue to use them for any future window needs and highly recommend them to anyone needing similar work."

"This company ranks the highest with me. From the initial measuring and estimate, to the installation, and then a minor manufacturing issue, I could not be happier with choosing Superior to install my windows. It took me almost 6 months of research before finally pulling the trigger to hire Superior. I went overboard and got estimates from 9 different businesses. They used different window manufacturers and for one reason or other (my comfort with the business, quality of window or cost), all were eventually crossed off the list. In a last ditch attempt to find other service providers before having to settle for someone I already crossed off, I stumbled upon Superior! When I called to set up my measurement appointment I found out that they used a window I was already well educated on, and was on the top of my list! Ryan came out to measure, he was very knowledgeable, personable, and I felt comfortable with him. He was going to be doing the actual installation as well. When I received the quote, it was $2,500 less than an identical quote from another installer. I was already sold on the product, felt comfortable with who was going to be doing the install, it was a no brainer to go with Superior. The windows were ordered, installation was scheduled once they came in, and the whole process was flawless! Once Ryan started working, it was very obvious he is a perfectionist. The sliding door and windows were installed perfectly. I did find a scratch on the glass of one of the windows, and the office manager Stephanie, came out to inspect it and ordered a new window pane for me and then came to install it once it arrived. Ryan and Stephanie had really made this big purchase happen for me with very little effort on my part. They have handled every little issue that came up to my complete satisfaction with great professionalism. I would love to hire Superior for additional work I was to complete in my house!"

"Started with Rachel on the phone who was kind and specific. She quoted a firm price over the phone and set up the appointment. The technician, Ed, was friendly and helpful. He arrived right on time, told me how long it would take and proceeded to vacuum up the hundreds of shards of glass, somehow getting every one of them. The replacement window was installed for exactly the price quoted. They came to my house and all I had to do was pay and say thank you. I highly recommend The Glass Doctor. They were great and their price was considerably less than other providers including those who did not offer home service. The window fits perfectly and operates smoothly."

"I had no complaints after the initial installation.  They were fast, professional and left our rooms and yard the same as when they got here.
I'd like to explain why I am posting this review now.  It is now 11
years later since we had the windows installed and on the outside of the
house, the windows look the same as when they were first put in. We
haven't had to perform any maintenance at all.  The caulking is even
still intact and looks new.  I had honestly expected to have to replace the windows in 10 years because of the pricing..  Down the road, I was investigating replacing a larger window and came upon a ton of negativity about Wellington and I never gave them a  second look.  I thought that we just got lucky not having any of the problems I had read about.  So, now, fast forward to today.
I contacted Wellington today, March
21, 2013 to inquire about getting a new weather strip (the fuzzy strip
at the top of the lower sash) that had come loose and to recommend an adhesive to reglue the plastic lift on a different window that had separated..  I provided the job number of the
contract and told them I assumed it wasn't covered under warranty, but
the lovely lady on the other end informed me that they will have someone
come out for the $85 trip charge and assess ALL of the windows and make any
repairs/part replacements under warranty.  I'm thinking that $85 for someone
to come out and go over all of my windows and repair or replace
anything is a deal, especially considering we've had these windows for
11 years.
In my opinion, the money we spent on Wellington Windows was by far the best VALUE than we could have gotten with any competitor even to this day.  The money we spent in 2002 was the total dollars invested for 11 years of trouble free and worry free performance and the windows still look great.  They provided and installed good looking and good performing windows at a price we could afford and they are honoring their lifetime warranty.  There isn't much else a person can ask for.  Our lifetime warranty covers 100% parts/labor  for another 9 years, so the next owner of this home will get the same protection.  I think that's great!

"Scott came out to our house to see what needed to be done to stop a leak in my skylight.  He thought he arrived a little late but was actually right on time.  He advise me that it was most likely a seal that needed to be re-caulked.  He advised that if further damage was found he would let me know and give me an estimate.  He had fantastic customer service and I was called before and after the work was completed.  I would highly recommend this company and couldn't be happier with their work.  The price was more than fair for the quality of work his company performed.
