"We were very pleased with the caulking and painting work Alex recently did for us. The caulking work was near perfect, and the thorough prep work before painting was notable. He went out of his way to guarantee our satisfaction with our painting project. We have no reservations recommending Alex and would hire him again."

"I had a patio type area in front of my house which consisted of a flower bed turned to weeds removed and concrete blocks laid and my back yard raked and removal of weeds and leaves with waste hauled away and entire yard sprayed to keep weeds from regrowing. The hard work done by the Garcia family (Arevalos Business, LLC) was excellent. They showed up on time, worked extremely hard and I can't say enough about the quality of their work and final results. I plan to have more work done by them in the future and have recommended them to a friend."

"We recently had Two Stone Granite and Quartz install our new Quartz kitchen countertops. When Danny came out to take the final template, he took his time to make sure everything would come out perfect and it did. They did an amazing, wonderful job with the quartz countertops installation. It came out extremely beautiful. I was impressed by their total professionalism. They were fast, efficient and left the area clean. I will definitely recommend them to friends and family. I highly recommend Two Stone Granite and Quartz to anyone who needs new countertops. Expert job by an expert outfit!"

Countertops and Backsplashes questions, answered by experts

Comparing engineered stone vs. natural stone countertops can help you figure out if one is better than the other for you. The answer depends on your preferences, needs, and budget. You might choose engineered stone if you are looking for something more cost effective and low maintenance, but it is hard to beat the beauty of natural stone counters. You may prefer their longer lifespan, the uniqueness of each slab, and their durability.

Granite countertops cost an average of $3,250 compared to $2,250 for tile countertops. Granite is also harder to DIY than tile, given its weight and bulk, which increases the overall labor cost of installation. Over time, both types of countertops may need sealing to remain resistant to water, heat, and other common kitchen elements.

Clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or cutting directly on the surface.

Onyx countertops are naturally porous, absorbing liquids and staining easily without proper care. Regular sealing every 6 to 12 months is essential to keep them looking their best. Daily maintenance includes wiping up spills immediately and avoiding harsh cleaners or acidic substances that can etch the surface.

Yes, countertop refinishing really works. It can help give your countertops a new and fresh look and extend their life by up to a decade. Countertop refinishing is a possible DIY project, or you can hire a pro if you prefer not to do it yourself.
