"This was the first home we general contracted 100% on our own.  Countryside P&H was excellent to work with.  Their estimates were accurate, they were punctual, and all follow up issues were tended to promptly.  They were great to work with when we decided to change some fixtures they were very flexible and they allowed is to shop for certain things online and take advantage of clearance prices and didn't just find a way to upcharge us somewhere else to make up for it.  All their work was quality.  When we had problems with the temperature level/air flow in one bedroom, they didn't give us any grief and came out and did what they needed to do to make it right.  They worked great with the other subcontractors we had on-site.  Other contractors were not flexible and their follow up was not good, so we have something to compare them to.  I would not hesitate to hire them again.

"I would like to thank Brenden, Dan, and Devin for a very clean and professional job. During this time of the COVID-19 crisis they masked up and did a fast, clean, and thorough job on my basement drainage project. I am very satisfied with the work they did. Thanks again, Kelly Snyder"

"Trident Bath and Shower did an outstanding job ripping out our tub and putting in a safer and more convenient shower for us. We loved how they worked with us to find the most affordable and efficient solution for our bathroom. They all are such kind, honest, and wonderful people. From the first phone call to the rep coming to our home and educating us, to the final installation. Everything went better than we could’ve imagined! Definitely the best bath company we’ve dealt with!"

Affordable Plumbers questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can put a bathroom in a bump-out. Some homeowners build a bump-out to enhance their bathrooms with new sinks, vanities, tubs, showers, or linen closets. Depending on the layout of your bathroom and what you’re adding to it, you may need to install new plumbing or reroute your existing plumbing lines.

Water pressure for residential homes falls between 40 and 60 pounds per square inch (PSI). This range works well for everyday water use in most households. And while some homes have water pressure higher than 60 psi, once the pressure reaches 80 psi or more, it can lead to increased wear and tear on your plumbing system.

For easy-to-access pipes, your plumber will shut off the main water line and replace the pipes without demolishing your property. Underground or difficult-to-access pipes require different approaches. There are two ways to replace underground cast iron pipes: trench and trenchless sewer line replacements. Trenchless replacements result in minimal damage to your yard and involve bursting pipes and replacing them with new ones via an access point.

For a fully-foamed hot tub, freezing typically occurs when the temperature drops below 28 degrees Fahrenheit and remains at or below this level continuously for a minimum of 36 hours. If your hot tub and pumps are still operational, however, the water circulates, and this continuous movement helps prevent freezing, even in very cold conditions. This circulation, along with the insulation provided by the foam, helps maintain the water temperature and prevent it from freezing during extended cold periods. Still, if you’re not planning to run it regularly, be sure to winterize the hot tub properly to prevent damage from freezing.

Yes, you can usually replace a sink without replacing the vanity. It really depends on the type of vanity and the type of sink. You’ll need to make sure you purchase a sink that will fit in the existing space. This requires precise measurements. You’ll also have to carefully remove your old sink, making sure you don’t damage the countertop during the replacement.
