"Swimmingly. I interviewed quite a number of HVAC companies for this job by sending out an RPF (Request for Proposal), and Bob Mamayek was unquestionably the most thorough in his on-site evaluation. Installation crew was fantastic. This is a small shop, and it was a true pleasure to have a team of regular guys just getting the job done. I recommend them without reservation. I almost gave them a B for responsiveness because Bob doesn't do a lot of email, but I realized while typing that this would be completely unfair, for two reasons. A) Bob might not respond to email with email, but he did always respond with a phone call. Frankly, that is better on many counts. B) This ignores the amazing response to my RPF, which was both timely and thorough. So, really, this says more about my email-centric life than Mamayek's responsiveness."

"I would give Guardian Heating and Cooling 10 stars if there were a way to do that! These guys are outstanding! They showed up, after hours, to determine exactly what was causing our problem. We had already suspected it was time to replace our boiler since it had been more than 25 years old. Steve confirmed our thoughts about replacement. He quoted a fair price and scheduled a time to come back. He showed up early with the new boiler and within hours after their arrival, we were up and running. We had a little hiccup the next day, as things seemed to be working too well. We called Steve and he was at our house in minutes. We already wondered if the thermostat wasn't able to keep up with the new boiler set up. 30 minutes later, we had a new thermostat and everything was working properly. Steve and Adam were friendly and professional. Our basement was cleaner when they left than before they arrived. Their prices were reasonable and there were no surprises, price wise. We were given a quote and that was what we paid. It's refreshing to find people like these guys!"

They showed up exactly on time and were finished earlier than I expected. Work areas were cleaned up, inside and out. Not even any metal shavings in the grass where the new ducting was cut. "Better Way was on time and explained what they needed to do. I needed to have a new wire installed from thermostat to furnace. They moved my ceiling tiles in the basement, ran the wire, replaced my tiles and hooked up my new thermostat. They programed the new thermostat and walked me through registering it online. I never had a wifi thermostat before. Process was smooth and everything works great. Will use them again."
