They got to my place as soon as possible, and Dan did a great job and explained everything to me that he was doing each step of the way, They are polite on the phone and show their desire to make you a valued customer. Highly recommended.

Everything went very well. They were quick to respond by phone and quick to come out for an estimate. I asked a lot of questions and all were answered politely and professionally. After getting several estimates from different companies, I decided on A Better Way. Costs were all pretty much the same, but I was impressed with their professionalism and that they are a local company. They also had the best guarantee for parts and service, 5 years. One thing to note that I learned from all of the companies estimates, is that parts and service does not mean totally free. All companies charge a trip fee if you do need service. But ABW was slightly cheaper. After I called to confirm, they were able to install 2 days later. Installation went smoothly and no surprises (costs). I've been running the air conditioner almost consistently for a few weeks and have not had any problems.

They came out the next day after I called. I was going on vacation the next day. They had the unit installed and running before I got home from work. Excellent job.

Matt and Dan were very prompt and did an excellent job. Matt followed up with phone calls to ensure we received an expensive part that was under warranty. Matt did a very good job of explaining exactly what they were doing every step along the way. They also did an excellent job of cleaning up after they were finished. We would definitely hire again!

I literally can't recommend these guys at A Better Way Heating enough. They were AWESOME to work with. Super kind, professional, explained everything thoroughly, offered us our options and respected our decisions with no pressure. Work was done quickly, and after the installation was complete, I got the personal tour of every bell & whistle of our new machine. The guys even walked through and swept up after themselves when they were done!!! I'd call them again in a heartbeat.

When our heat wouldn't kick in automatically without turning the furnace off and on manually, we called another service that we used before, but they couldn't come for two days. We called "A Better Way" for the first time because of the Angie's List recommendations. Matt came out the same day and cleaned a flame sensor. Our furnace was also due for a yearly tune up so we set up an appointment for two weeks later. At the tune up, Matt found concrete dust in our furnace from a basement repair beside the normal tune up procedures. Matt was unique in that he explained all of his procedures to us. He also showed us the readings for our furnace which let us know it is working well and still has years of longevity. We found "A Better Way" to have reasonable prices for the work completed and we highly recommend them..

They were excellent. Matt showed up on the day we closed on our house to see if the 27 year furnace was going to make it through the winter- the furnace couldn’t even make it through the morning before it died. Wow - Matt and his team ( Dan and Eric) had a new furnace in place and warming the very next morning. Matt explained everything about the furnace and control, offered tips for saving money and energy and made sure we were sign up for additional warranty. They were excellent and a pleasure to work with and we are planning on their return for our old air conditioner in the spring/summer when it dies!

Very good. Very knowledgable and professional. Important because oil furnaces aren't around too much anymore. Seems like they would have great service other types of furnaces and systems.

Words cannot express how impressed and happy I am with the service I received from the guys at A Better Way. We started with an air conditioner repair - furry little gray critters took up residence over the winter and apparently feasted of the wires. I was shown pictures of the damage; repair options were explained; price for repairs was very reasonable. Unfortunately, along the way we also discovered the circuit board on my furnace was fried, necessitating a new furnace. Although I was not looking forward to that unforeseen expense, I appreciate their thoroughness in locating the problem. I would have been in deep trouble if it had not been discovered until it came time to turn on the furnace when the cold winds really began to blow. The guys did a marvelous job cleaning up after the installation - in fact left it cleaner than they found it! I HIGHLY recommend A Better Way!! I will definitely do business with them again.

Very quickly! The guys were running a bit late, but the office let me know. Once they got here, their work was done in about a half hour. Very friendly and professional, took time to make sure I understood everything and knew what safety precautions were necessary. 10/10 would hire again!

Better Way was on time and explained what they needed to do. I needed to have a new wire installed from thermostat to furnace. They moved my ceiling tiles in the basement, ran the wire, replaced my tiles and hooked up my new thermostat. They programed the new thermostat and walked me through registering it online. I never had a wifi thermostat before. Process was smooth and everything works great. Will use them again.

Matt came out in the beginning of the week to inspect our AC. Before we called we heard loud noises when the AC outside came on and that is why we called. Matt inspected our system and explained that our compressor was leaking freon and that it was down 2 lbs. Being that this AC was installed back in 2009 it was using R22 which is outlawed by the government. So in order to get this fixed we would have had to change the compressor which would have cost us around 600-1000. The other bigger issue was that when the builder installed our AC it was not sized for our home. We were very blessed that we were able to use it for 9 years before it went out. We were overworking the unit being that it was trying to cool a 1550 sq ft. home and it was only a 1.5 ton unit. So Matt proposed replacing our unit. We negotiated a great price and we scheduled them to come out on Friday May 24th. Up till now, Matt was on time, very professional and was careful on making sure his shoes were covered before walking in our home. Matt was also knowledgeable and was easy to understand. At the time my parents were visiting and he was very helpful and explained the situation to my parents. They really appreciated that. Now on Friday, Matt and Dan came out and again showing great care for our home and our time. They installed our system quickly and efficiently. After they completed the work, we noticed a huge difference with our system. The house was cooled in no time. We were very happy that we finally had a system that was appropriately sized for our home reducing our cooling time by almost half. I am so happy that we called Matt to do this work. We never felt that we were taken advantaged or that we didn't have control of all the decisions that needed to be made. I recommend Matt and his team.

Outstanding! Matt and Dan are fantastic professionals who are a pleasure to work with. They are friendly, outgoing and very knowledgeable and I always feel like they take good care of my house and my family's needs.
