Some perks about this type of flooring: (1) The stairs have a great no-slip texture. (2) It looks much better than a plain epoxy or paint finish and easily as nice as the carpet we had previously. (3) The flake flooring in our basement is much warmer than I expected; certainly warmer than the ceramic tile we have in the bathroom. (4) Itâ s easy to take care of and the pattern in the flake doesnâ t show dust/dirt easily. That is more difficult work, as each panel has to be constructed from several planks. Moreover, the clear finish would leave any flaws more visible. Simply put, the doors are beautiful--flawless in both construction and finish. They are similar in quality to custom cherry furniture we own."
