"They did a great job taking down my huge tree. I asked for the extra service of mulching the limbs and splitting all the wood into firewood and stacking. It looked like a very hard job but they saw it through and stuck it out to the end. All done in a day."

"All aspects of this project were done efficiently, professionally. and the outcome exceeded my expectations. Communications were frequent and informative. Two maple tree stumps were removed via excavator, vs. grinding/chipping. This resulted in the area being free of roots and debris. I am very happy with the results. The price was very reasonable. I highly recommend this company. Pictures include before and after."

"Francisco has been my “go to guy“ for all of my macro projects for many years. He limbs my fur trees, prunes my hedge (14’x14’x180’), winter prunes my 30 fruit, removed fallen tree from my house, installed new shrubbery beds. He is trustworthy, reliable, and excellent in what he pursues. You will love his generous smile and great attitude."

Arborists questions, answered by experts

Poison oak is similar to poison ivy in that it's in the same family of plants. Poison oak is identifiable by its rounded-off leaves and hairy leaf texture. Tree-climbing varieties live primarily in western states while low-growing poison oak bushes occupy the eastern states. Treat poison oak like poison ivy to get rid of it permanently.

Peach trees don’t tend to live as long as other types of trees and crops. They tend to last only about 12 years, and you shouldn’t expect to see a full peach harvest each of those years, either. Young peach trees need a few years to get established before they produce fruit, but you should have plenty of peaches for your pies and cobblers during their mature years, around years four through eight.

If tree branches cross well into your property line, in many cases, these branches become part of your property, and you can trim them up until your neighbor’s property line. However, this issue will vary based on local ordinances, so you should do your research before making any decisions. Better yet, speak with your neighbor about how to handle any tree issues.

If you don’t mind the branches, you can leave them be, but if they’re becoming a hazard, it’s definitely worth having a conversation.

Tree experts don’t advise against digging through tree roots, but instead encourage caution and consultation with a local arborist to make sure you don’t damage the tree’s structure or interrupt its water or nutrient intake. An arborist can recommend specific practices when digging and help prune the roots or dig a trench for utilities with a tool that can remove soil without touching the tree’s roots.

Professionals use assessments, strategic cuts, specialized equipment, and safety measures to ensure healthy growth or the safe removal of trees or shrubs.
