Would never recommend!! We hired them after seeing positive reviews and having a negative experience with another company. The owner came by and quoted us roughy $4k to take down three trees, and even added in a small dead one in our backyard as part of the deal. Bonus, we thought! He came with only one other person over a period of 2-3 weeks, showing up only twice. He barely made a dent in one tree. He said after he found more crew members he would be back. We called him and he said he might be able to find more help Saturday, but if not probably Sunday. He didn’t show up at all that weekend, or call or email or try to reschedule. Just kept telling my husband he couldn’t find a crew. After ignoring us he quietly came to get his equipment in the middle of the day after leaving it in our front yard for about one month. I came outside and asked him about finishing the Job and he said he couldn’t find crew members. His exact words were “sorry, but nobody wants to work on weekends.” I mentioned our unanswered emails and he said he didn’t see them, but no offered no apologies, solutions to fix the situation, plan a time to come back out, or anything. this is clearly not his main job and the communication was horrible. If it’s a job you can’t handle, just admit you overcommitted, miscalculated - whatever. Don’t **** out. He left debris in our yard and after us reaching out one last time to rectify the situation, we still have never heard anything. Extremely poor service, would never recommend.

OUTSTANDING!!! Our experience with this company was uniformly excellent, from first contact to the completed work. Every single aspect of their work was 200% professional, with the added benefit of friendliness! Our venerable apple tree, which has graced the backyard for 45 years, was perfectly pruned, followed by a detailed cleanup. Brett really knows his stuff about trees, and greatly impressed us during his first visit to give us a free estimate. The cost was beyond reasonable, We especially appreciated how Brett arrived on time for both appointments, plus his attention to detail. (Both of those qualities are something our previous tree service ceased demonstrating, which led to our selection of Western Tree Service.) We can't recommend Brett and Meaghan highly enough!

Megan and Brett responded promptly to our inquiry, showed up on time, and did a fantastic job. What really impressed me was that they truly care about the health of the trees. They are extremely knowledgeable about what the trees need and our yard looks beautiful.

Western Tree Solutions did an excellent job. They listened to what I wanted, then wrote up a bid and contract and complied with the stated terms. They worked through rain, hail, and snow, ankle deep in mud, to complete the project. Cleanup was thorough and well done. The crew was polite and accommodating. I would hire them again.

Megan and Brett were professional during the entire process. They were diligent in the prosecution of the work and promptly cleaned up after themselves. My husband and I were very pleased with their work and will definitely hire them again when the need arises.

Two weeks before the actual work was performed, Megan came out to see what was needed in order to prepare an estimate.  We were particularly concerned about the broken limbs on one of the dogwood trees and one of the cherry trees and were happy with Megan's proposed solutions.  She emailed an estimate and we agreed to go ahead.  Megan, Brett and Chris arrived on time and worked quickly and completely cleaned up all debris.  The trees look so much better now.

Brett, Megan and their crew showed up as promised and went right to work. The job was to remove a Honey Locust tree and trim a cedar tree that were hanging over my carport. The locust was actually on a neighbor's property and they obtained all the permissions needed from him to remove the tree. All work was performed expeditiously and efficiently. They ensured all debris was properly cleaned. A limb fell on my fence and broke a couple of slats which they replaced before they left. I would recommend them for any tree work you need to have done.

This company was very professional, knowledgeable, courteous, polite and customer focused from the initial phone contact, to the quick turn a round in both inspecting the property and getting the bid out. They were very responsive to emails for scheduling the work and any questions that came up before the job started. 
The crew arrived as scheduled, on time and worked hard throughout the day. ( A full 8+ hrs.) They removed the debris as agreed and left the property cleaner than it was before they started.
This company clearly cares not only about customer service, but was also extremely knowledgeable about the work they were doing and the potential impacts of how they did it. They roped up the fir tree, instead of using spikes, to remove the limbs to cause less damage, both physically and aesthetically, to the tree, Limbs were lowered by rope to avoid damaging  bushes, etc. They cared about personal safety as well since all crew members, whether on the ground or in the trees, wore helmets all day long.
 Birch trees were not just topped but reduced in height and shaped carefully.
The run of Leyland Cypress which ran between our house and the neighbors and had not been touched in at least 5 years, was trimmed up on both sides and topped.They took time to make sure both parties knew what was happening and why, how much they could safely trim the trees down without damaging them and  how to care for them after the work to maintain their health. 
This company was excellent to work with, they delivered the work as agreed upon in a professional manner with excellent results. I will use them again.
 

It went really well.  They arrived right on-time for the estimate appointment.  Brett and Megan were very personable and my husband enjoyed talking with them.  The next day they emailed us a clear, printed, detailed estimate.  We agreed to the service by signing the contract they included and emailing it back.  We scheduled a service day for a week later.  Again, they arrived right on time with Brett, two workers and the equipment they needed.  We walked the job one last time as my husband was staying but I was going to work.  They worked steadily.  When they had questions they would knock and ask my husband what he wanted them to do.  When working on the tree outside the front door they knocked and let my husband know that he should not come out that way for awhile.  During the job walk there was a shrub next to one of the trees they were working on that I was ready to be rid of entirely.  Brett said it would take them five minutes to remove it and he'd do it at no extra cause.  Done!  The crew was professional and their work made a huge difference.  The trees had not seen any attention in years.  We were particularly interested in Western Tree because they are also arborists and we wanted to be sure that our trees were not just removed or pruned but to also make sure they were healthy.  There was one birch out front that they say we probably added 30 years life to the tree by fixing a bad break that happened before we even owned our home.  The break in the trunk was holding water like a bucket.  They cleaned up everything after they were done.  We were very happy with the process and am already planning on using them again for our many junipers.

I have found the company for me when it comes to my trees and shrubbery.  They are a dream to work with, courteous, honest and best of all they care about the trees and land.  I plan on using them for all my tree and shrubbery services. 

When we discovered in the morning that a huge old growth maple had fallen across our driveway, we called several tree removal companies.  Western Tree Solutions was able to come out 2 hours later.  They assessed the situation and gave us a quote that was considerably lower than another estimate we got.  They gave us options like minimal clearing of the driveway and totally hauling the tree away.  We chose the first, and they got to work.  An hour later, the tree was cut up and pushed to the side of the road so that our driveway was free and clear.  The two young men who worked on the project were very friendly and professional.  We were totally pleased with the work they did.

Excellent communication during site visit, quote and scope of service confirmation.  Owner/Crew were on time, re-confirmed exact work to be done and answered our questions prior to beginning work.  Crew is highly safety conscious and very well trained/organized.  They were also very concerned with our safety and the safety/cleanliness of our property.
Work was done in two days, including entire clean up.   The owners are hands on with every job and were on site as the job was finished to ensure everything was done to our satisfaction.  Their follow up was very much appreciated....as we wanted to thank them and recognize their crew for their dedication, hard work and respect given to us and our property.
This is the third time we have used them and each time they taken extra time to give us ideas on tree care. The owners  personal commitment is communicated and practiced by their crew.  
The county required us to replant some of the trees removed in a common area and Brett and Megan made suggestions regarding the type/species of trees that would be good to replant and ones that would require the least care and enhance our property.
 

Brett & Megan came promptly to give an estimate when requested and then supplied an extremely detailed quote via email the same day. They were also on site each day to discuss the scope and progress of the job.  The work was completed in 4 days and we were very pleased with their professionalism, punctuality & dependability.  The crew who cut down the trees (led by Chris) were AWESOME!   They worked really hard and safely as a team, going above and beyond the work outlined in the original estimate (taking out & trimming extra trees that were not in the quote) and thoroughly cleaned up the debris where expected.  They also fixed a couple of our beach steps without being asked & when a branch bent part of the gutter on the pump house, they returned to replace it & paint all to match. They did a fantastic job and I would not hesitate to recommend Western Tree Solutions to anyone. Their bid was very fair and reasonable compared to others we received and we will definitely use them again.

We were very pleased with their work The owners, Brett and Megan were very responsive. They came to give an estimate within 1 working day after I called, were on time and provided an honest assessment that saved us money in the long run. The staff who cut down the trees were INCREDIBLE! They worked well as a team, were careful not to damage the surrounding plants and shrubs and thoroughly cleaned up the debris. My neighbors and I were fascinated watching Chris climb from limb to limb, cutting the branches and the ground crew lowering each one down to haul away to the wood chipper. I would definitely recommend Western Tree Solutions to anyone wanting professional, experienced and dependable people. Their bid was very fair and reasonable compared to other bids we received and would use them again.

Great.  Showed up on time and did the job well.

We used them last year to remove four trees and were very happy with the experience. So we hired them again this year.  They arrived with a crew of four including the owner Brett and proceeded in a very professional manner to remove dead branches and carefully prune parts that needed removal. They used ropes not boots with spikes to ensure they didn't damage the tree. This the new high standard in the business and requires some skill and much physical strength which they had. The project took almost the whole day. Very nice crew, professional, friendly, careful.

This was a skilled crew and very professional. I had initially thought of them as something of a demolition crew but was pleasantly surprised by their focus on the health and well- being of the trees. They had a number of suggestions concerning the care of not only these trees but also other of our trees and shrubs. All topping was done skillfully with a emphasis on leaving the tree with a pleasing and natural appearance. The clean up after the job was thorough. I will no doubt be using them in the future.

Each day there was a pre work meeting where exact work/processes were outlined for the day.  We were consulted to ensure we understood what was to be done and to ensure we understood the safety requirements. 
Very knowledgeable of all tree species and made excellent suggestions regarding some new plantings we wanted to do. 
Western Tree Solutions is a locally owned company and is highly customer service oriented.  We felt comfortable asking questions, making comments during the whole process.
We have an HOA and many of our neighbors who watched the work have commented how impressed they were with the work and attention to detail.  Several neighbors confirmed they would be using Western Tree Solutions for their tree pruning/removal work in the near future.

Brett and Megan were very easy to work with.  They both have a very "earth friendly" perspective when it comes to tree removal.  I believe they went beyond what was expected of them.  They kept our property neat and clean at all times and put everything back the way it was found (i.e. pots, etc.).  I would highly recommend them to anyone needing tree work.

They climbed up the tree, and using a system of pulleys, cut and lowered the limbs to the ground so they would not crush any of the plants at the base of the tree.  They were very careful, as some of the limbs had to be lowered onto the neighbor's lawn and away from their flowerbeds. They sawed the limbs up and carried all the leaves, limbs and debris out and away. It took 2 days as there was a lot of work to do.  They also trimmed up some huge firs. They did a wonderful job.  Worth every penny.  I personally appreciated all the safety precautions they took, wearing hard hats, eye and ear protection, and harnesses.

It was OK. They did what I was expected them to do. There wasn't anything exceptional or anything negative. They are fine, they're acceptable.

Megan and Brett canvassed our neighborhood and had spoken to many of my neighbors. They spent a good amount of time reviewing my lot and offering advice on what could be done to maintain the quality of my trees. I have 20-30 trees that are 80-100 feet tall on my quarter acre so it's important to me to keep what trees I can while providing safety and reducing roof cleanup. I was so impressed by their advice, by the price quote and by the quality of the job, I recommended them for a larger pruning and removal of the area surrounding our HOA's tennis courts. Throughout the process, Megan and Brett listened carefully to our concerns, performed the work better than expected and billed us at the agreed-upon cost. The result was a job that enhanced the view of the courts, provided better air flow to the area and less debris to be cleaned off. Many neighbors complimented the job to our board of directors, got referrals to Western Tree Solutions and have since hired the company for other large and small jobs.
