The stump removal/grinding work by Archon was excellent. The work was completed on 5/28/2021, the day after Archon cut down two of my trees. The Archon crew was professional at all times and operated their equipment in a safe manner. Archon made quick work of the two stumps and completely cleaning up all debris.

Archon's Tree Removal Service was excellent. On 5/27/2021, the crew arrived on time with all equipment and personnel required. They made quick work cutting down the two trees and processing the wood through the chipper. All wood and debris from the job were hauled as promised. The Archon crew was professional at all times.

Removed the top 60' of a 120' tall Hemlock that had snapped during a recent wind storm which left the top leaning precariously toward our home. Because of the tree location in a buffer zone between us and a neighbor, the removal was complicated and required 2 cranes and a crew of 6. From the initial assessment, through the planning process, then site work prep to protect our landscaping and finally to the removal and clean up, Archon performed the work in a professional and safe manner and at a very reasonable cost. Later in the day a second Archon crew removed several cherry trees. Both crews were very friendly, courteous and respectful of our property and that of our neighbors. In the end we were very pleased with the work and for the value received.

This is the second time we've used them. Last year was an extensive deadwood and pruning (first in the lifetime of the trees, I believe) and this year was to clean up some cracked branches from the snowstorm. Reliable work.

From my initial meeting with the estimator to the completed project, the process and the work was flawless. I had them perform two jobs. I did not choose them because they were cheap, I chose them because they had the proper equipment, specifically a large boom truck/crane and a huge chipping machine, the proper attitude and skillset. The first involved removing two large firs that were growing close to the house. Archon brought in their crane to safely remove the trees. They also brought their large chipper for the limbs. The job involved lifting the 12- sections of trunk over the house into a truck for removal. The crew handled the job expertly. After the tree work was complete they blew the saw chips off the roof and raked up any loose debris. When they left you couldn't tell they'd been there. The second job was removal of a clump of large Maple trees growing close to a building. This time they did not use the crane. All of the work was performed with climbing spurs and ropes. They took the trees out in pieces, chipped all of the small stuff and left the trunks for me to cut into firewood (I chose this option instead of having the trunks hauled away to save on costs). As with the previous job, they cleaned up after themselves and left the property in better condition than when they arrived. My experience with this company has been excellent from beginning to end. Everyone from the office crew to the cleanup crew are polite, competent and professional. They work as a team. There was not one time where I saw anyone standing around looking at a smartphone, smoking or in any way being unproductive. They were there to do a job and they worked hard until it was done. They invoiced me exactly the bid amount in a timely fashion and weren't pushy for payment. I would recommend Archon to anyone. I wish all of the businesses I hire had their work ethic and professionalism. ML

Excellent. Brian came and took a look at my 8 very damaged trees. Of the 8, I was most concerned about 3 severely damaged ones. Two 25 yr old maples had a bad split in the trunk, and Brian knew how to save them (bolting the trunks). My poor 27 year old magnolia needed a great deal of meticulous pruning and support (which they fashioned out of one of the fallen branches) to repair and save it. The other trees just needed a knowledgeable pruning to help them heal from torn branches.

The team arrived with a crane and within 5 hours had all 5 trees down on the lawn (reducing work move later move rounds) cut up. Fastest and most impressive service I have had to cut down trees.

They were professional, considerate of the neighbors and the property. It was a big job with complications and they adjusted and got it done. It required the use of a crain and mulitple crews over a couple of days. Jennifer in the office was good at responding to questions and Brian and his crews were efficient and friendly. I will recommend them to neighbors and friends.

Archon crew arrived on-time, immediately set up and got started on the job. The Tree was about 48" wide at the base, very big, and very close to the back of the house. The tree had split at one time and turned into two trees about 40 feet up. Within 4 hours, the tree was down, all branches cleaned up and removed including the saw dust. We were very impressed with the work competed. What we thought would b a dangerous, all day long ordeal, was simply a quick, and safe routine job for the crew. We certainly will call upon Archon in the future! Highly, Highly recommended! Other estimates were nearly twice as much!

Archon is very user friendly — Jennifer is a great communicator and Brian is hands on management — so they are pleasant and easy to work with. I have been happy with the results of their pruning and tree removal. They also offer compost tea to nourish your trees and plants. Their prices seem hefty, but I didn’t get estimates from other services so can’t compare.

The men that came cane and asked how I wanted the tree trimmed and then thoughtfully made suggestions and cleaned it up beautifully. It is a huge maple out front, that I adore- it looks just lovely and ready for Spring!
