"Richard was outstanding!  He showed up on a timely basis for the first appointment, which was to provide an estimate.  He was thorough, and although he tried to upsell us on several items, he was not pushy at all.  His price was very competitive, and beat the lowest other bid by over $200.  On the day of the installation, he called us early to let us know that the supplier would be dropping off the tanks, and then showed up at the appointed time for the actual installation.  The installation went great and he finished in the timeframe that he stated he would finish.  He was friendly, but professional.  He even installed a new shower head in our daughter's bathroom free of charge.  We are planning a bathroom renovation soon, and we will definitely use Noble for this work!  I highly recommend him!

"Wonderful. Tom and Justin were enroute not only the same day, but in an hour or so. Hubby had installed new water softener and the kitchen sink had air constantly in the line. His troubleshooting did not resolve our issue. Professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and humorous. Tom found the dual minor issues right away. This is the 2nd time I've used A River City and they have become my go-to plumbers."

"After purchasing a gas dryer at Sears to replace our old one, we were informed that Sears couldn't install it when it was delivered. We were fortunate to get ahold of 1st Response Plumbing; they came when they said they would and easily did the work that Sears couldn't. Derrick was great; we were really happy with the work he did and it was very reasonable as well. We will definitely use them again."

"Plumer was profession, friendly, on time, and did a great job. We have an unusual sink that was incorrectly installed years before we purchased the house, and he modified the new faucet so that it would work with the incorrectly cut granite countertop. A true professional"

"

My mother has a new air conditioning unit (similar to heat pump) that was installed by another company. Outside temperature yesterday was 96 degrees and the unit stopped working yesterday around noon. By the evening time, the house was 86 degrees which is dangerous for her as she is in her late 80's and homebound. I called the company who installed the unit and was told that it would be 3 weeks before they could come out even though the unit is still under their warranty. (Oddly enough that company also has "A" rating through Angie's List but I'm puzzled how that's possible.) The service coordinator was terse and said they only did "first come, first serve" which I understand when dealing with most of us. However there are times when priorities are needed.

I found Aire Serv on Angie's List. From the beginning of the call the experience was positive and very helpful. She acknowledged that home bound and elderly people needed to have a quicker response. She agreed to try to get someone out the next day and would try to get someone there today so would call me with more information ASAP. Meanwhile my husband attempted to problem solve the issue and fortunately managed to fix it. That is the only reason that Aire Serv did not do work for us. I will absolutely use Aire Serv the next time we need anything and highly recommen

J&J Solutions inc. Is a full service company, locally, family owned.\n\nWe offer so many services its staggering. Our goal is you. We want things to be easy for our customer. We know all too well how hard it is to invite an unfamiliar face into your home. That's were we come in! Your grandma might have a Gardner, a window cleaner, a grocery delivery guy, a painter, a house cleaner and a carpet cleaner. That's potentially eight different people in her home, eight new faces, eight new backgrounds. We do it all with one face. The best thing is, the person that helps you from day one will be there every step of the way. Background checked and drug tested. We don't only strive for the best service in all fields, but the best employee pool. So you don't have to feel like you're just hiring a company to send a stranger out. You're hiring a company to send out a professional that has all the tools, skills and drive to offer every service need that may come up around your home. You think that's cool? That's not even the beginning! Property managers might be realizing how much of a headache property turnover is. You need to schedule and coordinate with so many companies to get your current house ready for the market, your new house ready to move in, and all the in-between's of your personal belongings. Call us. We will help you pack and move, clean your carpets at your new home, clean it top to bottom. Whatever you might want to make this new house truly feel like a new home from the moment you walk in the door. Then we will get your old house ready for the market. Often times in under a day. I don't over book my employees. They don't rush to that next job.  they stay on site and on task until everything is as good as it can get.

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."

Sink Installation questions, answered by experts

Basic replacements can be done DIY, but professional services ensure proper sealing, leak prevention, and plumbing adjustments.

If you know the job is going to be extensive (and you don’t like surprises), hiring a Roto-Rooter specialist may make sense for you. You’ll know how much you’re going to pay right away.

That said, hiring the best plumber isn’t solely about price. If you've worked with a plumber you trust before or have a list of plumbing services you need tackled at your home, working with a plumber might be a better choice for you.

When installing an undermount kitchen sink in a granite countertop, use 100% silicone to secure the basin. If you’re worried your sink is too heavy, speak with a countertop professional about how to adhere the sink to the countertop without worrying about issues down the road. Sagging undermount sinks can be a common plumbing problem if they’re not properly adhered, so always make sure you’re using a high-quality material.

Yes, you can use flexible pipe for a sink drain. Flexible pipes can make it easier to fit sink plumbing together with less measuring and fewer cuts. However, corrugated flexible pipe can trap hair, grease, and food particles in the folds and cause foul odors and eventually build up enough to clog the drain. Smooth pipes are recommended for sink drains and plumbing.

You’ll only need to replace your sink’s pipes when you start to notice signs of wear like corrosion or leaking. Most pipes last somewhere between 20 and 100 years, depending on the material. Copper and cast iron can last up to 100 years. Galvanized steel and brass generally have a 50-year lifespan. PVC pipes last 25 to 40 years.
