"I have lathe and plaster walls so having the option to have a dog come and smell was the best for us. Corinna and her dog Catalina were very professional (I have 2dogs of my own which we put outside). Catalina and Corinna are very professional pair I would highly recommend them to check for mold if your in need of this type of service. We do have mold and will be dealing with that issue. Mold is an issue in western Washington. I have been sneezing multiple times in a row when I sneeze for a few years and found out that is a mold related issue. "

"Maurice (the owner) was extremely poor with communication. If he was so super busy, he should not not demonstrated interest in the project I needed to have done. Maurice came out on Friday June 19th at 3 pm and stayed for about two hours. He told me there's a cost of $45/hour over the phone at no more than $100 for the initial visit. After he removed the baseboard, cut the wall and diagnosed the problem, I paid $120 for the service. I didn't question it because I was extremely appreciative that he figured out the problem so quickly. I had every intent at that point to hire him not only to fix the water damage done and install a new shower door, but I also requested that he send me an estimate for new flooring on the ENTIRE top floor of my house. He is an alum from the university I graduated and currently work at. I really thought I was in good hands. He said he'll send me an estimate in a couple of days. On the following Monday (6/15) I followed up with an email to include a bid for a custom made door since I was expecting the estimate within a day or two. I heard nothing from Maurice all week. I sent a text AND email on Saturday June 20th at about 9 am and finally heard from him at 2:24 pm with an apology as well as an estimate. The estimate was a bit over my budget so after some dialogue via text messaging, I realize I need to prioritize the work and we both agreed installing the door and mold removal would be the priorities. He agreed to send me an adjusted estimate and schedule to begin the work on Monday June 22. I never hear from Maurice (granted Sunday was Father's Day). On Monday (6/22) at 11:46 am I sent a text AND email. Heard nothing. At 3:30 pm, I followed up with another text to schedule something since I had already cleared my calendar that day to get the work started. Heard nothing. Finally, I get an email with an adjusted estimate in which he doubled the cost for the mold removal. I felt extremely disrespected by Maurice. I lost the $120 I initially paid and have now inherited a hole in my bedroom wall. Again, if you're so busy, please don't accept additional jobs and show your lack of professionalism!"

"Pacific Rim CR was extremely responsive when it came to mitigating water damage. They ran tests, removed flooring and dry wall that had been compromised, and dried us out quickly. However, they were not very professional or polite when it came to communicating with our insurance. They also offer reconstruction from the damage. Our experience with the reconstruction portion was terrible. The company was unresponsive for weeks and took months to provide a quote. We had told them twice that we only wanted the damaged area repaired, but they sent an inflated quote to repair the entire downstairs by ripping up all wood floors and replacing them along with drywall, base boards, and paint. They also were extremely dishonest and told us that they spoke with our insurance adjuster and got the inflated quote approved. When we told them we spoke to our adjuster and the quote was not approved as he was on holiday, they then changed their story to say the adjuster's supervisor approved. Again we spoke to our adjuster and this was not true. During this entire interaction, they continued to push us to reconstruct an entire downstairs of 1,500 sq. ft. when the damaged area was only 15 sq ft."

"They had dehumidifier the to stop water damage and help make for insurance claim for demolition . Most importantly they could not do any work until the did an asbestos test.Because it came back positive SO they could not do the demolition. They refer Thermotech to do the removal of the asbestos. And we now have a completely gutted to the sub floor."
