"2 workers, pleasant manor, very professional, pride in performing a very perfectly leveled entrance. Concrete came up 2 inches on South side, and 2 inches at wood steps. We have carpenters adding Trex and handrails and excited to repaint the trim on the house."

"Garret provided a fast quote for my project which was very reasonably priced. He took time to answer my questions with fast turnaround for responses. His availability was also very quick, and I wanted my project done as soon as possible to meet other deadlines. Garret and Larry showed up on time and were very courteous and professional, and respectful of my property in their prep work and during the concrete pour. They both answered my questions and explained the project details, along with follow-up that was required. I highly recommend Northwest Concrete Cutting for anyone needing a concrete pour."

"Liffel Concrete provides excellent service. Job strategy was clearly communicated before the work was bid and the bid clearly listed all work. All items were completed on time and pricing was competitive. The finished product is excellent, more like what you might see in a grocery store than in a shop. The floor is very flat with a nice, smooth troweled finish. I recommend Liffel Concrete."

"After calling several larger and friend-recommended contractors for my demolition and siding project and getting no calls back (or the contractors who did call back told me that they did not have time for my project), I took a chance with Pure Home Remodeling who did work recently at our neighbor's house not a long time ago. I got a call and an email back right away. These folks and mainly Ida and Lorenzo are completely what you hope in a contractor - a company that really cares and takes pride in the quality of their work. I got a very reasonable and competitive estimate quickly and they were able to start working within less than a week. The communication between me and Lorenzo and the office was professional. Like most projects, there were a couple unforeseen things that were relayed to me immediately with a few options so I could decide on how to go forward. The guys were punctual, courteous, and knowledgeable about everything they did at my house. The finished project that they did included the new kitchen and bathroom, the back yard (new stamp concrete and plants all over including few palm trees), remodeling the bathroom at my master bedroom and painted the house inside. The entire work came out excellent. The new kitchen looks million times better than it was before and the bathroom now has a shower and bath tub after Lorenzo was able to extend it by 5' on each side. Everything looks great....especially since these guys are the real deal. No shadiness, no hassle and no hidden charges."

Concrete Mudjacking questions, answered by experts

Concrete leveling in a Spokane home primarily solves safety and structural issues caused by the region's variable soils and frost heave. It corrects uneven walkways that create trip hazards, especially with winter ice, and fixes improper drainage that can lead to water infiltration in basements. By addressing these problems, you also protect your property's curb appeal and prevent more extensive structural damage from occurring over time.

Helpful?

Certain features can complicate concrete leveling in Spokane. Homes built on basalt bedrock or those with crawl spaces may limit equipment access for injection methods. In older neighborhoods, utilities often run under concrete slabs, and homes with radiant floor heating require specialized care. Steep driveways, narrow lots, or complex landscaping can also present significant access challenges for the necessary equipment and professional crew.

Helpful?

The longevity of concrete leveling work in Washington depends heavily on addressing the root cause of the issue. This includes a proper assessment of the local soil composition and correcting any underlying drainage problems before lifting the slab. Using materials and methods designed to withstand WA's freeze-thaw cycles is also critical. A successful repair focuses on long-term stability, not just a temporary cosmetic fix.

Helpful?

In Spokane, you should consider the area's significant freeze-thaw cycles and unstable glacial lake sediments, which affect concrete stability. The best time for work is late spring to early fall. Also, check with the City of Spokane for permit requirements if drainage is affected and be aware of any HOA aesthetic rules. Calling 811 to locate underground utilities before any work begins is a crucial step.

Helpful?

If previous concrete leveling work in Spokane is failing, you may see new cracks along old repair lines or notice gaps reopening between slabs. Drainage problems are another key sign, such as water pooling where it was once corrected or ice forming in low spots during winter. If doors and windows become difficult to operate again, it can also indicate renewed settling and a need for re-evaluation.
