We are a husband and wife owned local company located in Auburn WA. All work is done by Roger who has over 30 years experience in the home improvement industry. We use only employees, no subcontractors or day laborers. We are fully licensed, bonded, and insured. In full compliance with all Washington State requirements and current on workers compensation premiums. Why is this important to you? Companies that are NOT licensed, bonded and insured open the home owner up to no available recourse in the event that the job goes bad. If a non licensed company does more damage to your home there is no option for you the home owner to get help and corrections from an insurance company or from the bonding company. If work on your home is done by a company that is NOT current nor legally hire employees and someone hurts themselves while at your home, that person can be allowed to use your home owners insurance to cover medical bills and fee's related to their injury. It is important to do your research as the home owner to make sure that you are covered by the company you hire. RDH offer's a 1 year warranty on all work we perform, and since we do not use subcontracting labor or day laborers your warranty covers installation as well as the materials.

"I hired Joel and his company to install an overhead hood in our kitchen. He ended up drilling an extra hole in the flange of the hood to attach it to the ceiling because he did not have enough wood to attach to the ceiling as a mounting point for the hood. The orientation of the hood was slightly tilted as a result. Furthermore, his people cut through 80% of one of the joists in the ceiling to route the ducting to go outside and did not reinforce the joist afterwards. When I pointed out these issues, he asked me for an additional $310 to the $1210 I already paid for the service to rectify these problems his team caused. I refused and decided to have another contractor do the job correctly. Absolutely do not recommend."

I am an independet General Contractor that appreciates the opportunity to assist in your home remodeling/repair needs.

"This company has been to court multiple times for not finishing the job and stealing people's money. If they do the job they do a poor job and usually you have to hire somebody else to finish or take down what was done. The better Business bureau no longer recognizes this business because of its bad Business practicing. Just this year alone he's got multiple subpoenas against him because of his business practices. He has lived in multiple States and he has had problems with the law in multiple States. The positive reviews on his website are mainly from friends and family. This guy has stolen well over $100,000 from people in the last couple of years. There is post all over the internet that tells how corrupt this business is. I have even talked to a handful of people that didn't post reviews and has told me that they have been ripped off by him. I have talked to local contractors that are upset with this company because they have to go and fix what he has done. He claims he's fully insured and that's only partially true. He has insurance for him and the workers but he does not have liability insurance. so any damage that he does to your house like he did mine falls on you. He will refuse to fix anything that he's done. He hides his assets under his wife's name who happens to be the owner of Brooks General Contracting her name is Tosha Brooks. The local courts here where I live are very familiar with him. I found out that just this year alone he has had multiple subpoenas brought up against him. He is a shady contractor and I highly recommend staying as far as away from this company as possible"

Window services FAQs

If you have a problem with your window, such as broken glass, minor leaks, or a problem with your window being stuck, repairing the broken part might be a cheaper option than replacing the entire window. However, if you have a deteriorating window frame or major leaks, buying a new window will be the better long-term solution.

Window replacement can become costly, especially if you’re replacing your whole home. There are a few steps you can take to help save money on the bottom cost while still giving your windows a facelift.

  • Replace multiple windows at once to bundle your purchase

  • Inquire about discounts, coupons, or special offers

  • Consider window repair as soon as you see damage to help prevent the need for replacement

  • Maintain your windows often by inspecting your windows for drafts, leaks, and cracks

There are certain window repairs that are cost-effective to DIY and relatively simple for homeowners to tackle themselves. Tasks like replacing a screen, replacing a lock, or sealing a window are typically under $30 and take minimal time to do yourself. However, if you need to replace your window or repair a broken double pane, it’s best to call in a professional window replacement installer to lend a hand. Replacing the majority or all of the windows in your home is a time consuming job and best left to a professional.

Window replacement costs between $180 and $410 per window, or an average of $280 per window. However, your specific replacement job could cost as little as $100 or as much as $750. Factors such as frame material, the number of windows you need, and the type of glass you order all impact the overall cost. For example, simple double-glazed windows will cost $3 to $6 per square foot, but the stronger tempered glass ranges from $12 to $14 per square foot.

The time it takes to replace a window is a total of four to 15 weeks. This time includes your initial consultation, appointments for measuring, as well as ordering and manufacturing your windows. For a smaller job, you can expect the total timeline to be on the shorter end, but for a whole house window replacement, it might take longer (or be split into multiple install appointments). Once your windows are created and ready to be installed, your window installer will take 30 to 60 minutes per window to install.
