Jack of All Trades at this time has 2 employees and there may be a need to add more the future. I do not use sub contractors at this time. All estimates are free.
"Excellent company. Jack is amazing, he is nice and friendly and he has a keen eye for design. He is a master craftsman and a perfectionist. Arrives every day on time and always show up, has a wonderful crew that he brings onto the project. I would highly recommend Jack of All Trades for any project, not just bathroom remodel. I was pleased with his work and the price and how quickly he got the project done!"

At Snoqualmie Builders, we are a boutique home builder, taking on only a few high-quality projects per year. This allows us to provide a hands-on, highly focused approach, ensuring each home is built with precision, efficiency, and clear communication. With a background in both hands-on trade work and managing large, complex commercial projects, we bring proven systems and structured project management to residential construction. By applying commercial-grade scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and proactive planning, we minimize delays, confusion, and cost overruns. We use open-book billing for full transparency and work with top-tier subcontractors who balance quality, cost, and speed. Our low-overhead, small-team model allows us to deliver exceptional homes at a lower management fee—all while ensuring a smooth, well-executed building experience for every homeowner.
"I had the pleasure of collaborating with Brandon from Snoqualmie Builders on a custom home renovation project. I was thoroughly impressed with his craftsmanship, collaboration, and commitment to quality. As an architect, I value builders who share a commitment to quality and detail, as well as a trade partner that I can trust to collaborate with to create the best project for our clients. Brandon’s wealth of experience, attention to detail, and ability to come up with solutions to unforeseen conditions exceed my expectations. Whether it was selecting the best materials for the project, coordinating skilled tradespeople, or ensuring the project timeline was met, his commitment made the project a success. I highly recommend working with Brandon and his team at Snoqualmie Builders and l look forward to working with them again on future projects."

Did a plumber open up your wall and leave a nice hole in the wall? Or maybe it was the HVAC guy who had to cut a section out. Not to worry because we specialize in doing drywall repairs! We take pride in our work and respect to your home, we put effort in making it look like it never happened! Hope to hear from you soon on how we can help!
"I really appreciated that Indigo was able to come quickly. My kids had made two larger holes in the wall and I really wanted that to disappear before family arrived in June. I chose Perfect Patch Pros over another company despite the work being more expensive because the other one was going to use canned texture and Indigo uses a hopper, plus all of the positive reviews here. He spent a lot of time at our house on the day he came, taking care to cover the carpet use a drying machine to get everything nice and dry, and clean up after himself. In the garage, we had an area with water damage where we had to cut a hole in the ceiling drywall. Indigo knew that we needed to use fire-resistant drywall there and did a great job repairing it. In the stairway where the holes were, he also did an excellent job of making the smaller dings disappear, however the part of the wall that was cut away to fix the holes is quite obvious."

The average cost to hire a handyman ranges from about $40 to $140 per hour. Average project cost ranges between $180 and $700, but the cost per hour and per project depends heavily on the type, size, and complexity of the project. The pro’s experience level and your location also factor into how much a handyman charges per hour or per project. You can also expect to pay higher rates or additional fees for emergency services, or around periods of high customer demand, like holidays.
Handymen/contractors will charge anywhere from $50 to $175 per hour. The hourly rate is based upon their experience level, overhead costs, and the cost of living in that specific area. Many handymen/contractors will charge by the job.
Tipping a handyman is not a requirement or necessarily expected, as they should build a fair wage into the price of the job. However, some people will tip a handyman around $10 to $20 per hour or the equivalent of a day’s pay, depending on the size of the job. But it’s up to your discretion. There are no set rules for tipping a handyman service, but if they did a great job and you’re so inclined to tip, it’s encouraged and will likely be received with thanks.
A tip is not necessary. If you feel that a handyman did a great job for you, the best thing you can do for them is boost their reputation by leaving reviews on as many sites as possible and spreading by word of mouth how good they are. A tip is temporary but a reputation creates a business!
There are several questions or things to know before hiring a handyman to do any work in your home.
What kind of work do they do?
Do they have proper licensing?
Do they charge for estimates?
Is the estimate for both labor and materials?
Do they provide references?
Do you provide a guarantee?
When can you start and finish the job?
Do you have any before and after photos of your work?
How long have you been doing this kind of work?
Do you clean up and dispose of waste when the job is finished?
Is your company bonded and insured?
What is your warranty on service and materials?
Do you provide phone and/or on-site estimates?
Do you accept credit cards as form of payment?
Does your company offer financing for bigger projects?
Do you offer discounts for senior citizens/military (if applicable)?
Where can I see client reviews and samples of work?
Do you have any certifications or awards?
Yes, you should hire a handyman who’s licensed, certified, and insured, if possible. States have different requirements for handyman licensing, registration, and certifications. If licensing is required in your area, you may pay more for a licensed handyman with experience than one who is not licensed or certified, but you’re likely to get a better end result for your project. Be sure to check our state licensing tool to review the local handymen guidelines.
Being certified and/or licensed typically provides the customer with a level of comfort when hiring a handyman, but is not always a guarantee of quality work. Ask the handyman to explain what his or her process to complete your project is, and if you hire this person, check on the work, ask questions, make suggestions. After all, it's your project, your money, and you deserve quality work.
