The services we offer include organization, sorting and downsizing, selection of items to move, floor plans, liquidating and distribution of unwanted items, even purchase of furniture and design plan if needed. We believe being locally owned, and owner operated is important to the nature of our business. We take very seriously the confidence our customers - and families - place in JLD. Our business is driven by word of mouth - the best compliment we can receive is the referrals. Service available to Island, Jefferson, Kitsap, Mason, Snohomish & Thurston counties only if moving to King or Pierce counties.

"I cannot recommend Karin and her team highly enough! They are professionals with so much experience in this challenging work. They assisted me in downsizing a 5 bedroom house and moving into a 2 bedroom apartment at Skyline retirement community. My neighborhood did not allow estate sales but they contacted appropriate dealers to purchase many of my books, artwork, antiques, furniture, etc.--proceeds from those sales more than paid for their services. The day of the move (which I've always dreaded) they were super organized, cheerful and did everything, including moving items into my kitchen and making up my bed. They have since helped me with organizing a large storage closet and removing/replacing furniture when my apartment was flooded from a broken heat pump. We are a brand new start up company with a crew big enough to do practically any job. We do some sub-contracting but prefer to keep things in house. We have extensive experience in roofing, real estate maintenance, & property preservation. We also do many other services. We will do the job for you with payment upon completion. We also believe in giving back to our community through a ten percent donation of all proffits to the local United Way!

"It's been two months and I still can't get Morgan Transfer to tell me when they'll deliver my "overflow"... which was really that they decided to put my stuff on a truck with another client and was only able to fit half of my things as the rest of the truck was filled with another person's things. They don't return my phone calls and when I actually talk to the people"coordinating" my move I hear that they're waiting on the corporate office to tell them what to do. I have China, Christmas decorations, emergency food, but do not have my bed, the second bedroom, my complete sofa or sectional (both items only had a portion of the furniture delivered), yard tools, tools in general, bookcases to put the books in that they did deliver. I'd be careful about using United/Morgan Transfer if you aren't part of a bigger contract like the military or a corporation. As an individual who used them, they certainly don't seem interested in delivering the rest of my items to me."
